Author's Response: Yes, the club feet had almost completely paralyzed him but there was a chance he could regain his walking ability with more work - it's mentioned somewhere in the chapter - and Bill had just stopped hoping, which is why he chose to stay in the wheelchair instead. Maybe he needed someone to nag him a little and make him want to try again :) Thank you for your review!

I love the way you wrote out Tom's feelings for Bill juxtaposed with this frustration that's eating him up every time Bill doesn't let him in. It's pretty well done.
Anyway, I can't believe the story is about to end.

I am happy to see that Bill really wants to make this thing with Tom work, and has come to realize its not everyone around him eho is pitying him, but is he himself doing it. Thats a lot of progress. Can't help but think Bill is being such a bitch...D: Just what exactly happened to him to make him like that?D: Accident? Abuse?D: I kind of get his feeling though... Building up those walls and just being depressed and all.. Sometimes things seem to look and feel better, but then it gets hard and worse, you just slip back to that state of self-pity and be depressed all over again... I'm rambling. *zips mouth*
Wish he'd just open up to Tom. Wish he'd stop making himself feel worse... Hope Tom will remain patient enough to stay with Bill... And that Bill won't let go of Tom... If not... That's just saaaaaaaaaaaaaad..D: *le sigh*
