Very good story, I enjoyed it a lot! In my opinion it was very realistic, your characters were very alive and storyline wasn't too dramatic nor too sweet. Everything in perfect proportions. I'm really glad I have read it!

Oh wow. Such an incredible ending chapter. Where to begin... the quote at the back of the picture was so beautiful. It's really meaningful especially since I think I remember a moment where Tom was thinking to himself how hard it must be for Bill and how he didn't think he would be able to live like that (or something along those lines). So the fact that he would take Bill's place really means a lot.
The part where Bill was telling his story was so beautifully written. I was actually feeling pain for him and I just thought it was really heart breaking. I'm so glad he finally shared this part of him with Tom.
And finally, the last scene was my favorite for the intimacy, the love and just the general feeling of it. You can really tell how much in love and comfortable they are together. And I need to tell you, the fact that you never tell us with actual words that Bill can now uses his legs is absolutely perfect. You didn't go for the easy and obvious way, you just show us. The way Bill was using his legs a lot to show Tom he loves him was a perfect and subtle yet powerful way to say what needed to be said.
Thank you so much for sharing this fic with us. I'm very glad I decided to read it in the first place and even more happy to see on your profile that you have more stories up! Great job on this story, it's a difficult subject but you handled it beautifully in my opinion.

Wow, Bill can really be a bitch but at the same time, he kinda of have reasons to be... his condition must be really hard to live with and the fact that he's not always happy makes perfect sense, it's much more realistic that way. I love the fact that even if Tom is really annoyed with Bill sometimes, you can feel that he never gave up on him.

Their reunion was so cute though! With this awesome gift (I'm so jealous) and that beautiful kissing scene, perfect moment! Simone is awesome too, she's just so happy for her son, it's really beautiful.

Love love love the scene where Tom is taking picture while they're talking. The way you wrote it makes it so vivid, I feel like I'm there with them (I wish). Plus I'm a big fan of photography myself so it's just so cool to read a fic where they both have a passion for this.

I read this story this morning on the subway on my way to work on my Ipod and now I'm here to review every chapter cause I loved it so much! I was even late a bit late at work cause I wasn't finished, so I exited the subway, stand there and just finished reading. All this talk to say that this story was absolutely fantastic, but I'm gonna keep my overall review for the last chapter =P
The banner is really beautiful and it works, it's the reason why I started reading the fic to begin with, it really caught my eyes!
I love how you start the story with a flashback, now I just need the read the whole thing to figure out how they ended up there. Really like their first meeting, how they instantly connect on a personality level was great.

So Bill got back on his feet?! Ooooh, that's fantastic! I mean, I hoped when he said the doctors had told him he might be able to walk again, but there was no way of knowing.. He just needed that final push, I guess. Yay for Tom! :D
This story was so sweet, honestly! I don't think it was unrealistic, I was just surprised it was so short..haha! It wasn't a bad thing, don't worry, you just scared me when you said we were getting close to the end and then the boys were having troubles... Glad things worked out in the end! :)
I just have on last thing to say: What Tom wrote on the back of the picture was the sweetest thing EVER! I'm seriously in love with Placebo's cover of 'Running up that hill' and when I read that.. My heart melted! ;)
