I'm sorry it took me so long to leave this final comment on your last chapter! I was reading this on my phone and the browser quit on me so I had to come find this again. ♥
This section took a direction I really was not expecting! The reason behind Bill's being in the wheelchair...I guess I'd thought somehow it was the result of an accident, and Bill blamed his mother because she'd been driving perhaps. The possibility that it was something that could be rehabilitated didn't really occur to me either.
It felt very real for Tom to be so angry, their fight and the way they worked through everything had me all wrapped up in the conflict.
As for the end...It was lovely, just lovely. Very loving and intimate, great to see them having reached that point in their relationship and Bill seeming to have recovered brilliantly. I enjoyed the characterizations a lot, I think you did a great job making them both just...people, with flaws and good sides and everything. :) Great job with this story.

i loved this story all the way up until the end. i think the last scene with them in bed could have odne with a bit more explanation. i get it, that clip you inserted about the doctor saying he could walk again if he tried, and i'm going to assume tom made him try, but still, it would have been better if that was explained even a little bit. i did love your characters though and i thought it was very realistic.
Author's Response: Truth is, I wasn't going to even include that last scene originally, but back when I wrote this I only ever wrote pretty depressing stuff so I wanted to give it a hint of positiveness, I suppose? Hehe, I really didn't want to add more detail to it, but I guess I could've done it better. Thank you for your review and I'm glad you enjoyed most of the fic =)

You've written this so well that I keep forgetting Bill's in a wheelchair. It took me until this chapter to clue in that he lied to Tom about how long he's been in the chair. I don't think that's gonna bode well but hopefully love will persevere. I'm off to the next chapter. :)

I don't think it was unrealistic at all, but then I saw a lot of familiar things throughout the story, so perhaps I'm biased. I think it was truly well written, and very much enjoyed this story's company tonight. Thank you for sharing it!
