So, now i am thinking that a lot of Bill's muteness is psychological. I am no expert in the medical field, but I would think it would be nearly impossible to damage someones vocals cords to the point of not being repairable/healable with just your hands. Sure it would be possible to cut them but...I dunno like I said I am no expert,it just kind seems like it could be psychological that he is remaining quiet because of what happened last time, even if he doesn't conciously remember it.
yea, that was long and rambly, sorry. This was a really good chapter. I will definately look the rest of that poem up. It was nice finding out what happened to Bill. And...interesting seeing Tom's parents. Thoughyou did say at Tom's last college, but I was under the impression Bill was in high school, just thought I would paoint that out, you might want to go back and change it, or not it is up to you.
I am really enjoying this story so far. I look forward to the next spifftacular update!

Poor Bill :( (sighs) that was a very informative chapter. So one thing I didn't quiet get, what does Tom have again? From what I understood he can't hold his tounge he just blurts things out?? :-/
Author's Response: I'm not entirely sure whether it's actually possible without the other symptoms, but in this story, Tom is unable to keep thoughts in his head, he has to let them out. There are some forms of disorders where people don't feel empathy and therefore don't care what they say, but in Tom's case it's that he is actually unable to stop himself. I hope that explains it :)

So Tom is a special child. Still. His condition doesn't change. The fact that he's an asshole. I'm blaming that on his father and mother's behavior towards him. Same with his inferiority complex. Which makes me think. If he has that complex, maybe he's kind of jealous of Bill too? Like, Bill's mute but in some sense he's still better than Tom - like in Music. Could that be a reason of his bad behavior towads Bill?
And poor Bill:( Life IS unfair... He's so wanted that voice and it was taken from him by his father:(

I guess we found out why Tom's such an ass, though. Yeah, yeah, so he's sick, but he's still an arse :p I think special school will do him good!

yea, I was wondering if Tom had some sort of issue with censoring himslef. I know teenage boyd can be ass hats but still, he was a bit much to be "normal" ass hat-edness.
I just started this today, and it is really good so far! I look forward to seeing more. I am very interested in finding out what happened to Bill, seeing as he thinks he used to be able to talk, but now can't and has a phobia about touching. I imagine they are related.
