Your language and general wording never ceases to make me smile, I love the way you compose everything and let it flow so naturally. Nothing basic, but also nothing over-described.

I was actually very proud of the couple in this chapter- of how differences were set aside for just a split second and that tiny pinhole of light at the end of the tunnel showed through for the first time. Instead of hearing the story more from Bushido's voice, we seem to hear a bit more from Bill's- a voice that has seemed quieter throughout the duration of the story. It's soft, and still just a whisper, but in this chapter I could really feel him for the first time- better than any chapter before.

As I've said a hundred times, in review or even in conversation, this story is absolutely incredible! Please keep up the great work. I look forward to the next update!

Thanks so much for this update! It made my day. This story is so complex and... real and even though I don't know where this story is going, I'm loving the journey. :)

I began this story not reading the warnings, barely reading the summary- I only had a 'feeling' about it, and I decided to throw caution to the wind and give it a try. Now I know why that feeling came to me. Rereading what has been told so far, I've found myself brought to the edge of tears all over again, able to feel that tension between your characters- an Anis that finally isn't a monster but isn't a perfect guardian. Rather, he comes off as human- someone riddled with flaws and trying to cover them up as best he can. Then there is Bill that just seems...trapped, whether by his own doing or by something else I'm not sure.

The past between them comes off so dreamy, so perfect, tender and really sweet. It was a relationship that really did seem fated to work out, and I think that's possibly the most heartbreaking part for me to read so far. It isn't the fighting or the tension that's gotten me- although it's definitely tugged on my empathy the whole time- it's those sweet moments and reading that they went from that to now and...it's just horribly sad to read.

In this chapter there was the smallest bit of hope- that little verbal reach out or at least an attempt of it that was still sadder to read than any fight. You've created a story in which the reader ends up taking on Anis' very mentality, in which the fights are easier to bear than the tenderness, and those few tender moments are so tense that you never quite know where they're going to end up- and you're not even hoping for them to end 'well' because if they do, you won't know what the heck to expect from there.

(I apologize for not reviewing this immediately, at the time I'd read the update, I was so sick I couldn't sit up for more than a few minutes, let alone type, and I wanted to leave you something decent)

Please keep up the amazing work! You have no idea how happy and excited this story makes me when it's updated! Jaen and I have completely become your two-person shameless fanclub.

Aww. Man, this is so damn hard. The tension I can feel in there is SO heartbreaking. I got the feeling that things will not end well, at all.

I love the fact that this is mostly from Bushido's point of view, it makes it the more interesting and amazing.

I don't think I so much as blinked this entire chapter- driven to near-tears at the beginning when Bushido finally returned home, to a bubbling rage along with the characters as their fight became heated, and again to that tense feeling between them as they calmed down again and actually- somewhat- spoke to one another. My fingers were actually digging into my jeans as I was reading it, and I have to admit that my empathy is absolutely loving the rollercoaster ride of emotions you're bringing the readers on.

I adore this story so much, and squeal with joy each time I see it updated because I finally- without disappointment in the least- have something enjoyable to read that never leaves me cringing or regretting that I've clicked it. Thank you so much for this, and please keep up the terrific, heart-stopping work!

I adore this kind of beginning, and your writing is extremely gripping and flows so easily.
