Hmmmm... If Tom's going to wait until Bill trusts him to start doing anything, I don't think that will cause Bill any mental trauma, since he would believe he's doing this on his own volition. I think Bill would only be in real torment if Tom does or says something revealing after the fact. But that's just me, hehe.
