I likeeeed it.

You know, reading Bill burning cookies makes me remember that's the main reason I don't cook. I will - with no doubt - burn something. Maybe my hand, the food or the entire kitchen. XD

Author's Response: Thank you. :) And I think I mentioned it in the end notes for the first chapter, but my first try at baking those cookies ended up with most of them completely burnt. X) Which is sort of what gave me the idea for this chapter in the first place, lol.

Pepernoten!! XD

That's the Dutch word for Pfeffernüssen, as you called them. Usually, we eat them around December 5th, we celebrate a special Dutch holiday then XD

I'd love to read more.

Author's Response: Thank you! :) And thank you for the info, as well. :) I'm trying to get everything correct, but I only have what I've read or been told to go off of. X) I'm glad you're interested, though! :D

I like the beginning!

But Pfeffernüssen are original from Holland, so it's more Dutch than German. (Sorry I'm from Holland can't help it"

Author's Response: Thank you. :) And really? I didn't know that. X) The cookbook I got the recipe from said the cookies are German, so I just followed that. :) Thank you for the info, though. :D I'll see if I can add that in. :)
