This was such a lovely story, I started reading it, a day and a half ago, and I fell in love with it from the first chapter. Although it was kind of hard for me to understand some words, since my first language is spanish and I'm still learning english. I got into the story, I could see in my mind everything I was reading, and wow, it made me enjoy the story even more. I almost cry when Tom showed the finished painting to Bill and told him the story. It was so fucking sweet! Simply, I loved it. Thanks for writing that lovely and inspiring story (:
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it and that it wasn't too difficult, that you could still get into the story. My first language isn't english either, so I alway worry I use the words incorrectly.. But most of the time, I think I get my point across ;) And I'm so happy you liked Tom's story! I was seriously worried it wouldn't be 'the right one' or that it would sound stupid with him sort of retelling the entire story in the end. Then again, I've learned one should always sum up a lecture once it's finished, so that you can remind the listeners of the most important points in the end, so perhaps that works in a story too? :) I dunno... Anyway, thank you for reading and reviewing! :D I'm just glad I have someone to share my stories with, and if you found it inspiring then wow, I take that as a huge compliment! :D Thank you!

I started reading this last night and I've absolutely loved it! *kicks self in the face* I'm sorry I didn't review the whole way through. I get engrossed in a story and if there's a 'next' button, reviews skip my mind. It was great how you brought both Tom and Bill's worlds together and they could finally find balance in their life. I wished there had been some kind of coming together moment for the couple and Bill's parents but just deciding that they didn't matter was the closure I was looking for. I've recently gotten into graffiti myself (oh no, here comes crazy white girl with a spray can!) so that this story focused on it as an art form really warmed my heart and even inspired me to maybe repaint my room >D. You've also inspired me in love, as cheesy as that sounds. I've been in a 'blah, I hate the world and I'm never gonna fall in love' mentality recently and a story filled with fluff was just what I needed. It was soo cute. It was soo cool how you described the places in Germany, it's a big dream of mine to go there so reading it described and seeing pics (I won't tell the cops xD) was really cool. All in all, AWESOME JOB. Definitely going on my favorites!!

Well, they had both been looking for something, without even knowing it, and found it in each other.. I'm glad you don't hink I should've elaborated on their relationship with Bill's parents, as I thought it was important to have them not understand. I think it's one of the stongest proofs of love when one decides that nothing else matter as long as you're together with the one you love. That Bill's parents weren't capable of understanding shouldn't be enough to break them apart, then their love wouldn't have been strong enough to begin with :)
You know, I think more crazy white girls should do graffiti! I think it's a shame there's not more chicks that do it! I would've loved to, but I just don't think it's my forte - I stick with my pens and pencils ;) And personally I think it is an art, there are some seriously talented graffiti artist out there and I think it's a shame they don't get the recognition they deserve!
You know, I think you saying I've inspired you in love is the greatest compliment you could've ever given me! *is honoured* And you know, until recently I totally shared that feeling with you! Actually I wrote this story feeling like that, which was quite interesting, as I had to try imagining what it would be like, feeling the way they do. I'm a bit more optimistic at the moment, though, and give all the credit to this incredibly cute guy I'm seeing at the moment.. But yeah, I totally understand, it's hard to believe good things'll happen when there obstacles around every corner and the world seems cold and unforgiving. But they will, I assure you, one day ;) (Yeah, I know, I've turned into a fabulous source of cheese and fluff - it's horrible!)
Germany is a great country and Germans are such nice people! If you ever get the chance you should definitely go there! :D I've been there four times over the last year and it never sease to amaze me how kind and helpful the Germans are and they have such an interesting history and cultural heritage - I definitely recommend it! :) Oh, and thank you for not telling the cops, I appreciate it!

Author's Response: You know, I'm afraid I have to say I understand his feeling too well. I'm finishing my master degree at the moment, and I've hardly been outside the last three months. I look out the window and get depressed I can't go outside and enjoy the good weather because I have too much to do.. Still, I know that I'll be free in a month, for Bill it's a way of living - let's all hope we'll never find ourselves in that situation ;) I guess what I'm trying you're not the only one, my social life is non-existent at the moment, oh joy :p

Author's Response: He's just so passionate about his art, it's hard not to get lost in it ;) I haven't really tried understanding them before either, and honestly I have no idea if I've portrayed it realistic enough.. I just tried imagining how I would feel about it if it was me. I know how I feel about my own 'art', so I can imagine, though the choice of way to express it may be one I don't know :)
