He did finally figure that one out, yes. I think his concern was, basically, that he was afraid Bill wouldn't let him have his freedom because he didn't understand his need for it. But he soon realised that Bill did in fact understand and that he would let him do what he wanted/needed as long as he knew he would always come back :)
Haha! Yeah, Bill certainly is, having his own personal painting sex slave - who wouldn't want that? *giggles* I sort of envy him ;)

I am actually a bit teary-eyed right now...
Kissing the pale finger, Tom smiled. "The only direction I'd ever be running to would be toward you and all of my wandering just sends me in circles; I always end up right where I started." - This is daaaaaaamn cheezy and sweet and... Oh, my heart... Lol wish I was Bill right there.XD I got soooooo awed at this part, and I got a teary eyed. Hahaha actually the whole thing got me emotional..XD Damn it. Tom here's just soooo sweet. Argh. He deserves all thr blessings for being so kind and caring and sweet. Such a romantic!!XD It also reminded me of a song!! I can't remember it but there's definitely a song that had the same.. Same subject. Same feel (ugh loss of english words lol). 'I always come back to you'. Ugh how frustrating, can't remember it=_= ANYWAYS.
I feel happy and sad at the same time right now.. Aaaaww, hahahaha..XD Happy for the happy ending, with the sweetness they shared, the words they shared with others... Cheeeeezzzy but I dig it so much I felt it through my heart. So much sweetness!! ANTS!! ANTS IN MY PAAAAANTS!!XD
And now it's aching cuz this is the final chapter.. Gaaaaaahhhh... I kinda understand Tom feeling like a trophy wife. It's kinda embarrassing in a way being smothered with material things like that - especially when you're a guy - you know, their pride and shit. But Bill loves him so. So it's okayXD Let Bill provide the things he need for a new beginning. I find the image of Tom in the atelier... Ehm.. How should I say this.. Like a classic/timeless painting of sort? With the daylight spilling through the windows and Tom just inthe middle of the huge room.. And colors and paintings... A picture-perfect scene... Heeeeee.. Me and my stupid english*facepalm* Oh well!!

Awwww that's so wonderful for Andi, I really hope that he and Micheal will be happy together. Thank goodness Tom agreed to move in with Bill, I was getting nervous that he wouldn't for a while. Though his fears were very grounded, until he starts making money of his own he's very much a kept man. I can see how that wouldn't sit well with Tom. This was a beautiful chapter. I loved the bedroom fort Bill made, I do the same thing in the winter. My bed looks more like a big pile of blankets on the floor than an actual bed, and thats saying something seeing as my bed is on those riser things.
I am so happy for Andreas. He really deserves someone taking care of him and looking after him. Not that Tom didn't try, but well, its different isn't it?
I am so happy this looks like a happy ending is in the bag. Keep up the wonderful work. And don't feel too bad avout the missed updates. I don't think anyone really minds too much, you still keep prompt either way. *hugs* I'm gonna miss this story so much

I'm happy for Andi too, he definitely deserves it.. Tom did try his best, and of course he'll keep trying in one way or another, but this is a whole other thing, yes. Michael will take good care of him - in all the ways Tom couldn't ;)
