This Tom is annoying and too self-absorbed. He cannot empathize with other people. A normal person would understand what Bill goes through and help him. A secure person would surely see how Bill feels about them. But Tom's insecurities and short temper prevented him from doing so. In a long run, I think, Bill will be much better without this Tom. This Tom does not deserve this Bill.

This fic didn’t have a happy ending, but it was real. I would have done the same as Tom, so I think it was an excellent job. I really enjoy the love they share until the truth was told, even though they continue loving each other, but as I said, your ending was real, so you get my respect for this fic, so I continue being your fan jejeje.

This story isn't the most angst-ridden I've read, not the saddest, but you've managed to convey the bittersweet of it so well, I don't know how to begin.
Bill's naivety seems so clear, his heart good, but his intentions mixed and that ultimately, his downfall. It's a shame though that Tom couldn't get past Georg's 'ghost'... and though it's doubtful, I would enjoy seeing a sequel, one that takes place years later, where a more mature Tom and Bill find each other again. Why? because Tom and Bill just belong to each other.
Author's Response: that's exactly what i was trying to convey with this story, so thank you. bill truly did have the best intentions, he just went about everything horribly wrong. sorry, no plans for a sequel. but i'm flattered you'd be interested in reading one.

I feel bad for Bill, but he should probably really move on...somewhere else. If I were Tom I would be way too freaked out for that to continue. It's so sad it all had to happen like that, though. Shit, that's twice for Bill he has to lose someone he loves.
