Wow, Tom was being mean at the end there.. Honestly, Bill told him his reasons and explained the situation - he was being truthful..I just don't get why Tom is so mad! Shocked, yes definitely. This fic is really good. I don't think I saw that curve ball coming. Did you mention that Tom had his transplant about a year ago...I can't remember....w/e...this is an pretty spifftacular fic so far. I look forward to seeing the rest soon!
Author's Response: know what? i had to go back and reread my own story! lol you're right, i did not specify that tom's surgery was a year ago. he just said that he started getting sick a few years ago, and "eventually" his doctor decided he needed surgery, and he'd been on the waiting list for almost 2 years. maybe in a rough draft i had him being more specific. anyhoo, good eye! rnand thanks for the example. it works!
