Omg! I loves it! Please hurry and update!

ooh a twist on the old faves, eh? i was never an xmen girl, but my best friend watched them throughout childhood and these were her favorite characters too. :) can't say she was too thrilled about them being involved in a TH fanfic xD she isnt a fan...but i like it a lot :)

I feel for Bill who's never had any contact with another human being his entire life. Luckily Tom is there, all sweet and possessive. I look forward to read more as always :)

I love this so much. When I finished the chapter I almost had tears in my eyes because it's so good. And then I realised that there wasn't any more and I almost cried again, hee. I felt such strong withdrawal, realising that! It shouldn't even be possible after two chapters -- but these two are simply amazing.

Omg, there are just so many things that I love in this story! Tom affecting Bill so strongly, first of all. I love that he strains to hear Tom's voice when he's in the other room because he needs the reassurance. ♥ And Tom seems equally enchanted by Bill! I love that he calls Bill "chère." *swoons* I look forward to seeing why they're so taken by each other, and so quickly!

I love that touching is such a huge deal to Bill. He's so careful and skittish, freezing to make sure Georg has pulled his hand away -- clearly it's not just that he's careful; he's practically traumatised. And craving for touch at the same time. Poor Bill!

The scene where Bill feels so miserable when he can't tell Georg what his power is... is so lovely that I feel a bit guilty, enjoying it so much! But it's just so full of emotions: Bill almost crying when he tells Georg he can't say it to him, then his relief when Tom shows up (as if to save him ♥), really almost crying when Tom gives him the new gloves... and Tom's "You been hasslin' ma petite chérie?" *___________* I love his accent and his possessiveness and how he takes care of Bill and how Bill feels about it! I'm just ecstatic, reading this! I love the sense that there's a strong connection between them even though they've just met, and Bill's conflicted feelings about it. I love that Tom is so mysterious (and so sexy *___*) because we don't know much anything about him yet.

The chapter is filled with wonderful things: Tom's voice soothing Bill, Bill's jealousy and Tom's arm around his waist, Bill yearning to touch Tom and worried, suddenly, that Tom can read minds. Hee! I love that Tom seems like he could read Bill's mind. I wonder what his talent is. And I really, really want to know what he thinks about Bill! He's not like this with everyone he brings home, is he? Why does he seem to be so smitten with Bill?

I love that Tom introduces his room as the place where Bill will be sleeping! I'd thought the whole time that Tom should take Bill to his bed and keep him there. And now he did. *___* And then the promise here: "I won' touch a hair on you, unless you ask." *______* I'm even a bit incredulous while reading this story because surely something like this is too good to be true? Hee.

Bill's weak fighting and eventual succumbing is SO GOOD, too. I feel almost guilty, I love it so much! Hee. I love the dialogue, "Ain't sleepin' here, Cajun." I love Bill imagining what it would be like to sleep with Tom. (It's so, so lovely.) I love his weariness and the word "weak." And Tom -- Tom is so lovely. "You're tire', beautiful." There can never be enough of Tom calling Bill chère and beautiful! Never. And he's so sweet! He tucks Bill in and promises not to touch him. "Not a one." ♥ I love that Bill tells him not to lay a hand on him -- and that he or a part of him still wishes that Tom would hold him. ._. Oh Bill!

I really like the glimpse of plot (plot other than Tom and Bill's relationship, that is! Which feels wonderfully rich and plotty too!) in the last scene, but most of all I like Bill waking up and feeling bereft because Tom is gone. "reaching for something- Tom." And his voice breathy with panic because Tom isn't there! I love it. How did you manage to write something so lovely? Am I dreaming this? You wrote a fic that makes me suspect reality! Seriously.

And the touching. *_____* All of the touching! And there's so much. ♥ I love that Bill is comforted by Tom's touch and feels that Tom wants to be close to him just as he wants to be close to Tom. The bilateral nature of their connection is fascinating. As is the fact that Bill doesn't steal Tom's memories... is it because they're twins? Does Tom know that? Or is he just aware that Bill is something incredible and something he wants to hold on to?

Did I mention I love that touching is such a big deal for Bill? His sob! It makes me feel so sorry for him and sympathetic and also kind of... I don't know... gleeful? at the same time. I love it as a story. But I still feel bad when he's obviously been through a lot. Shaking when Tom touches him... but Tom touches him so gently and sweetly -- so thoroughly, I love that! -- that he's comforted and calmed. The last line is so wonderful. ;_;

Everything is crazy, beautiful, touching and so caring. I love Tom here. He's so gentle when he conveys what happens down there in a tempo that matches Bill's anxiety.
Bill's hunger for contact is obvious and Tom is not afraid to provide even after he knows. he s probably seen worse.

Gah, I love this so much honey. Tom just melts me, his cheeky attitude and almost careless demeanor. Bill is breaking my heart, his hesitance to be touched when it's the one thing he wants. I loved the shower comment and the cheeky way Tom said Bill was sleeping in his room. More, more, more! I needs it precious *snuggles*

I'm curious as to why Tom was so insistent that Bill stay in his room. I mean, if he knows that Bill is his twin, okay, but if he doesn't? THEN WHAT.

And Georg comforting another mutant who's distressed, omg, I know it's small but I think it's a big indicator as to what kind of people Tom, Georg, and Gustav are. ;__________;

"You're not the only one got to wear gloves, Bill." NNNNNG I FEEL A METAPHOR IN THERE SOMEWHERE. And for poor Tom, his gloves are the sewers - his strange eyes means he can't go anywhere without sunglasses, and even then I bet he's spottable. Georg and Gustav stay to help, but Tom - I bet he's kind of stuck there. ;_____;

And I realised something here! Remember what we talked about, Tom reaching over to brush Bill's hand: it kind of needs to be that way? Tom's going to have to seek out the touch, because Bill can't. Bill can't let himself get out of the habit of avoiding touch, for the sake of everyone else, so it's always going to be on Tom. ;_____; (See a theme here?)

NOW CONFLICT. Sometime soon, Bill's going to accidentally touch someone, I bet. And it's going to devastate him - perhaps enough to leave? But Tom won't let that happen - even if it means risking himself by running out into the the above-world, where his eyes are liable to get him caught - Tom'll take off his "gloves" for Bill. HE'LL DO IT FOR BILL. ;______;

(Okay, so none of that may actually happen. But my brain gets ahead of me.)
