Short but adorable chapters...Tom's a bit of a weenie in this though (pease don't talk offence it's constructive critism as I think this story has a TON of potential, maybe even a feature?)
I love Bill's wistful characterization in this but I think it would be more dynamic if Tom didn't believe in live so easily. I know you've sorta already introduced Tom but I think Bill trying to make Tom fall for him would be better that way.
Again I'm not trying to be mean, just help
