I am very much enjoing this. I am kind of surprised at Bill though. I can understand hm being wary and uneasy, but I would have though he would at least try to talk to Tom, consider that he might be innocent. Keep up the good work!

Oh my gosh, this is jusst amazing and beautiful! So sad and honest, and it's such a treat that it's not just a one shot. I love love love the quiet,shy, out-of-his-element Tom you've written. I think that seems very realistic that one would feel almost like an alien when coming back "home" after being locked up for so long.
I also like that you didn't just immediately say: "Tom was in jail for X, for X amount of time, and now X happened and he's gotten out." Instead you've revealed (and are still revealing) it piece by piece.
And in the same way, you're holding off on revealing the twins' previous relationship. I won't lie and said it made me cry, because I never cry from stories, but the thoughts and emotions going through Bill and Tom's heads (and how well you convey them) does make me feel very sad and cry-like inside my head. It feels very tragical-sad, and I'm sure you'll work your way up to a few heart breaking moments.
So insightful that you could work in little details about how things affect the twins, such as Bill observing that Andreas was like a younger version of himself, before Tom's incarceration took a toll on him; and Tom's being upset by the changes in the house and Bill's moving out. Great ideas.
I also like the scuffling of feet, the slushy street, and other details like that. So excited to see you take this prompt, and can't wait to read further into the story.

I'm always nervous taking on a prompt from the fic prompts, and always nervous that my writing will disappoint the person wanting to see their idea come to life. I'm glad that so far that hasn't happened. rnrnWith everything I write I want to pay as much attention as possible to the details. To a lot of people they are apparently a waste of time, but to me personally you have to have details, even if they're the smallest little description, to make something come to life. I want to be realistic as I can and I just wanted to put myself in a persons shoes, try to feel what they feel if they came home after five years and everything was different.rnrnI really hope my upcoming chapters dont disappoint because I am very happy to be writing this. I'd also like to thank you again for allowing me the opportunity to write another one of your prompts.
