They both are so adorable in this story. And Georg was a funny addition to this chapter too. The way you write Tom and Bill and how comfortable they are with each other, it is pretty obvious it's a match made in heaven.

I donīt think that Bill is pretending! Why should he?
Ok he lost his record deal, friends and so on, it could have something to do with it.
I donīt want Tom to feel put-upon.
But what I want is Bills ex-band to fail! Especially these Lieberkind! Was that his name, I canīt remember the names of people I donīt like.
I like this story more and more!

He's been handled by the caretaking service for many months now since the accident and he has developed a lot of issues upon the accident related ones as well. He has a lot of limitations, but Tom's trying to find out why they're still lingering when he should have been better even while he was in the hospital recovering...rnrnSo, yeah. I was aiming to leave a comment for this story in your lj as per usual but I have experienced some problems to log in lately (idk why *shrugs*) so I will do it here instead.
I love the idea for this story so much. It is so refreshing to read an "ordinary folks'" tale (in case of Tom) for a change. He is usually written as a loving and lovable sexy twin to Bill who is still a sort of jackass. In your story though I like his more matured, responsible, genuinely caring and warm character. He is such a sweetheart here.
What I find truly fascinating in this fic is from which starting point Tom's and Bill's relationship unrolls. The guys basically do it the reversed way as the rest of us. People meet, find interest in each other, fall in love, start to date, start to have sex and eventually some of us let the other see the most intimate, vulnerable and hidden parts of ourselves. Tom gets to know Bill like that from early on....see him naked, exposed, fragile and in his weakest basically, helps him to feed, to do his "essentials" and even helping with releasing some of that sexual frustration. That is such an interesting twist. As Bills' PA he might get an insight into even deeper dark corners of Bull's life. How enchanting and intriguing.
Can't wait for more!

It is wonderful to write Tom this way, and I always love Tom's POV because it a sneaky way to describe Bill through his eyes and show what kind of character Tom is in the same moment. I can't stop feeling sorry for Bill! It's hard to even imagine being in his situation but I can understand why he preferes an outsider to take care of him instead of someone close. Good that he got someone sensitive and caring such as Tom is.

This is really good. As far as Scandinavian home care being different...I'm in the US and you are describing it pretty well. Well, except for the hand job. ;) Personal care and all that, with nursing and therapy in the home, it's what I do, so it seems pretty much like here. We aren't supposed to get attached to our patients, but it's impossible not to. And the people that go into the field are usually pretty caring people, so I think you are portraying Tom very well. Your Bill is excellent too - I've dealt with lots of young people after traumatic, devastating injury, and they go through so much grief - separation, anger, all of that, and Bill certainly has a lot of issues to work through. Good stuff here.
I think Tom will make an excellent full time caregiver for Bill - hopefully he will move into the house so he can be avaliable to meet all of Bill's ahem, needs...night and day. ;)

Some Tom are equipped to handle, and others he'll just have to take as they come. Emotionally, you can't be prepared for everything a client throws at you, but Tom sure is with lots of compassion and gentleness. :)*Maria
