I appreciate that Tom is having to adjust; there's real-ness there that Tom's perceptions of 'girly' just didn't magically disappear with his realization that he fancied a guy himself.

I really can't say much of anything beyond how tender and lovely this is. I've yet to read something this tender - I've read fluff, but sometimes that lacks an element that makes it feel like a story about real people with realistic emotions. This story doesn't feel that way to me though. It has that realistic component that makes it feel like more than fluff. To me at least. So I find this quite satisfying to read. I'm happy to live vicariously through your characters as they endure and encounter relationships and feelings that I'm too stubborn and jaded to pursue, even though I can feel how much a part of me wants to pursue those things T_T. Anyway, I loved the chapter, and I'm proud of Tom's use of words.
