You've outdone yourself on this one. I was dying at all the things Bill had to say about Christmas. I'm married to a Christmas cynic who hates the holiday and wants to give our son his presents as they are bought instead of on Christmas. He could care less about the tree and thew away my stockings. I'm not a Christmasholic but I happened to have many great Santa free Christmas' as a child and I love the holiday. I want my son to enjoy Christmas as much as I did as a kid. We don't go crazy with the decorations or carols but a tree is a must for me. I always tell my husband that this is his chance to right the wrongs of his own childhood Christmas'.
I CAN NOT wait to read the updates and find out exactly how Jost is going to con Bill into doing this date. I'm so excited for this story and not just because you wrote it, but because it's creative, funny and well written.
Author's Response: Hahaha, yes, there are Christmas cynics everywhere, aren't there? I'm a bit of one, personally, but I do love spending Christmas Eve at home with my immediate family, and like you, I also must have a tree and decorations. ;) Here's hoping your son does enjoy his Christmas, and that your husband maybe even manages to have a tiiiiiny bit of fun!

I can't wait to see how Tom will try and teach Bill that the holidays aren't that bad. The idea of a cynical Christmas-hating Bill is so horrid to think of because I myself adore the holidays, but if Tom's going to end up showing hom how great they really are, I think I can forgive him. ;) Anyway, I'll be waiting very eagerly for the next chapter. ♥
