Lmao, omg, you know what this reminds me of? I was just watching "Barbie in a Christmas Carol" literally a couple minutes ago (woah, there goes my dignity!) and Bill just reminded me of how "Scrooge"/Barbie was constantly attacking all joy XD (or perhaps the reminding was the other way around) I'm just babbling, but it's amusing XD
Bill's personality and his interaction with others is delightful and always puts a smile on my face XD

Bill finally did it! Whoop! And I love how he finally allowed himself to laugh out loud at something that Tom said. Somehow, I feel like that's symbolic of a step in the right direction. Also, I love all of these rants that you've been coming up with for each chapter. Did you used to work in radio or something? Because damn, you're good, not only with the knowledge, which I can only assume (because it's 2 in the morning and I'm too tired to research, after having done two weeks straight of nothing but) is accurate, but also with the conversations; you make Bill speak like a true DJ, and that's part of your charm. You can characterize better than anyone I know, and dffjdkalfjadlf, it always makes a great read that much more enjoyable!
That rendition was beautiful, by the way. =)

I cannot get enough of this story. I was sitting and thinking "Where's Christmas cynic?" And when I refreshed the recent page, there it was on top. I loved that Bill wants to do the date on his own terms and that he's really beginning to like Tom. They are really going to keep each other on their toes. I see many great debates over coffee at the kitchen table years in the future.
