How fortuitous that that particular snowbank jumped out in front of Bill's car! Whilst Tom was taking Sirius for a walk no less. LOL Ahhhhh I loved it, brilliant, awesome, I'm grinning like a loon. I am so relieved that Bill forgave Tom so readily, and I giggled at cookies being involved. *hugs*

Dun dun dun, David is in trouble. I would not want to piss of Bill. EVER. I awwed and gasped through this whole chapter. I really liked it and I'm happy that Bill and Tom are finding there way back on track. I loved when you said, "as long as your happiness doesn't involve a dick besides your own." And I was happy that we still got a mini rant while Bill was in the car. Great chapter all around.

I'm reading this in a house full of relatives. But as a cynic myself I couldn't go one more day without the precious rant of the cynic.
I feel sorry for him, I want to really punch the optymistic, but I know that in one of the next chapters I'll love him all over again.
Hope to read more rant tomorrow, even though I have to read it while checking my surroundings more than once ;)

Wow. That really threw me for a loop!
I totally understand Bill's reaction, however, he shouldn't overlook the fact that Tom DIDN'T take the job. I hope he realizes the significance and doesn't let Tom slip away from him.

Awwww, poor Bill and poor Tom. I can see Tom's point, but considering how Bill lowered his defenses to let him in, it's quite obvious it won't be easy for him to trust Tom again. *sighs* Loving this so much, really, it's the best part of my day to find these updates!
