Bill and Tom meeting for the first time is so sexy. How do you make it so sexy when it's such a short meeting? And yet! Tom's warm hands and warm brown eyes are absolutely marvellous. I love that Bill says he's usually much more graceful -- it's so different from his acerbic radio persona.
Bill remembering Tom later is both funny and so hot! The audacity of Tom to be scorching hot, hee! And Bill shivering when he remembers Tom's hands on him. *___* I love that.
You write the connection between Bill and Tom so perfectly! The premise of a cynic vs. an optimist is intriguing, and their banter is funny, and now it seems that Bill is experiencing warm feelings... it's lovely! I love that Bill wants to say "no" when Andi asks, off-handedly, if he can marry Tom. And he sort of does when he says that the cookies look "seriously mine." :D
Tom calling again is such a great scene, too! I love that Bill is feeling all shivery but he keeps the appearances of a wry, sarcastic cynic. His commentary on what the cookies look like is so funny -- I was expecting him to say something softer again when he says that they don't look like kindergarten art projects, and then his remark that they're more like eighth grader's handiwork surprised and delighted me!
And the cookie being perfect -- lovely! It sounds like it smells heavenly, at least. No wonder Bill is so conflicted about calling Tom. That kind of a cookie would waver anyone's resolve not to date some random optimistic caller!

I love this so much! Bill as a cynical radio host -- his sarcasm and wittiness is absolutely amazing. *___* He's completely won me over! He rants against misogyny and talks about viewpoints other than the heteronormative one! I'd listen to him on the radio any day. Every day. ♥
I really like Andi, too. I enjoy reading about him laughing at Bill. :D And I can't wait where this is going!
