That was so beautiful. I cried my eyes out when I read this last night and all day I couldn't shake the thought of Bill staring out to see alone forever on that island. You did a great job. Your story and characters really crawled inside me.

I just- I can't even *breaks down in tears* Its so sad!! You should not be disappointed in this chapter. You managed to put so much longing and sadness and emotion in it. I actually had to take a few minutes to stop crying before I could see to type this. This was a beautiful story. The ending is so sad though, that I am going to choose to believe that one day, in a few, maybe quite a few, years Tom comes back to Bill, after he's gotten some exploring out of his system and realizes that all he wants really is Bill and their little island, and then when he comes back he can bring some things with him to plant that are edible. mmhhmm yup, thats my story and I'm sticking to it...btw feel free to turn that into a sequel if you want.It'd be great to see that written out. Can't wait to see more of your work!

Author's Response: Actually, Bill freed by Poseidon and searching for Tom in some Greek metropolis sounds like a fine story. Unfortunately, I think this story stands strongest alone and unsequelfied.

That was truly beautiful, I love all of the emotion in this story, it is so wonderfuly detailed too. I felt like I was on the rocks by the choppy waters losing my love as well, yes that means I cried.

i would have died. I wouldn't live without the love they shared. i kept waiting for a solution. there is fresh water on other continents. why couldn't they build a tank for Bill with fresh water until the got to the mainland? like in Pirates of the Caribbean and the mermaid. there are other ways. Now I'm just upset...
Author's Response: Aw, I get why you're frustrated. I simply immagine some mystical mumbo jumbo that keeps Bill on the island, unable to leave. It was meant to be a tragedy, and if there was a practical solution, well then it wouldn't be a tragedy would it?
