You almost had me crying I felt so bad for Bill! And Tom is being such a diva! Though if I had to be honest I would probably feel the exact way...I hate turkey, plus I would hate it if my mom invited everybody in town over, lol. But that's so sad that Bill feels so unwanted that he isn't even going to go to a Christmas party that everyone is invited to! *tears* I hope Tom will eventually make him feel more welcome :D

OMG! That's all I have to say is OMG! This story so far is just SDGJKDHGSDNGKSDGNU! It's that good XD lol.
Although I can imagine Tom feeling really guilty, I also think it was a natural human reaction to turn a blinde eye like that, so I think your characterization of Tom is very realistic so far. And I could imagine Tom being extra apprehensive given his sexuality.
And my heart is absolutly broken for Bill! Why do they not have any homeless shelters in this town! lol. I just want to give him a big hug and then bring him home and look after him XD hahahah.
Wow, this story has really gotten me excited, lol. I think I have calmed down now though XD So needless to say I am looking forward to more! :)

Yes, I figured it really wouldn't be realistic for him to either be like "oh my god I'm such a bad person for not helping aarghh!" or "nah, whatever, don't care". So I tried to do both, ahaha. And yay it worked! I'm glad :)
Poor Bill :( I'm not quite sure how he managed to turn up in a tiny little place in the middle of nowhere, I shall have to make that clear later, but they don't have homeless shelters because it's tiny. Hehe. But you should hug him as much as you want, because I think he'd like that :D

First, the banner and the summary are really good, that's what convinced me to read the fic.
Omg, this is such a good first chapter! I feel so sad for Bill. I hope it will get better for him and that Tom will get braver. Can't wait to read more !
