I've mentioned this on other reviews: I came into the TH / THF fandom in Jan’22. The vast majority of fics I've read are quite old and I'm sure the authors have moved on (and probably wont even see new reviews), BUT I figure why not leave one anyway… I enjoyed this fic and wanted to say thank you for writing and sharing it!

Omg, this is so amazing! I love this Bill so, so much. He's stricken when Gustav suggests he carry something! Hee! And I love how you describe what he does: "flopping his arms around demonstratively" and wiggling his nose "thoughtfully!" It's so like Bill. ♥
I don't envy Gustav, though. It must be wearying to be with Bill, especially considering Gustav's very different personality! I love that Bill is self-conscious enough to trust Gustav's judgement regarding his crush, but it's clear that you need to be careful around Bill... I love that Gustav "hastens to add" that love is a lot of things -- clearly he thinks that Bill might get weird ideas otherwise. *g* And I love Gustav's reaction to Bill's "When have you ever known me not to be careful?" :D I'm not sure, though -- is a part of Bill's carefree attitude just teasing? I'm willing to believe it might be, but I have no trouble believing it's just who he is.
I love the date. Bill and Tom are so wonderful together! They're so silly and lovely: I love Bill's "Tastes like... thievery!" and Tom saying it was Bill who bragged about having a voice like an angel. Hee! The dialogue is just so delightful in this story. "As tempting as 'cornbread and maybe zucchini' sounds," hee!
I like Bill's confusion when Tom doesn't try to kiss him, hee! Is that a little revenge since Bill avoided kissing Tom the first time? *g*
Can't wait to see what they do next! I hope that there will be lots more flirting and sexual tension. And Bill being infuriating/adorable. ♥
Author's Response: I love Bill/Gustav friendship both irl and in fics. I find the idea of Gustav having to deal with Bill 24/7 without the buffer of Georg and Tom hilarious. I imagine Gustav would be long-suffering but loving.
Rather than revenge, Tom is realizing that Bill is quite innocent and that he needs to tone down his usual seduction techniques a bit XD

I love this story! This is so funny and feels fluffy and fun! I'm completely charmed by it. ♥ And Bill is so amazing in it, too. His lines are priceless.
"I should’ve known you’d pick out awful things. I mean, just look at you."
"I will… carry things? Bill said slowly, trying to process the information."
"'Oh, um, no,' Bill said. 'I'm too lazy to learn an instrument.'"
I love that he's so spoiled and lazy and arrogant and insensitive! Hee. All those things, and I think he's absolutely marvellous; Bill can do no wrong, in my mind. :D But he's just too funny. And adorable. ♥
And I love Tom, too! Their first meeting! Staring at each other. They're obviously meant for each other from the start. :) Bill is speechless "possibly for the first time in his life," hee! And Tom makes sure that Bill won't go in the back with Georg! I love it. And "Fortunately, Bill loved over-the-top and corny" made me laugh out loud. So, so wonderful!
I love their flirty conversation so much. Tom brushing his knuckles against Bill's cheek. *__* I love how they tease each other, Bill telling Tom to take him on a picnic and to impress him, and Tom telling him not to be late! It's absolutely amazing. And Bill is shy, too. "shy from the attention and yet craving more" -- a great description!
I love how Tom pushing Bill's hair back to meet his eyes. I predict falling in love, and maybe Bill will become less of a spoiled brat (though probably not much) and Tom will find that he actually wants to settle down with someone. ♥

Oh my Goodness I'm so sorry I took such a long time to review! I was wondering about this fic and thinking about an update and then I realised I hadn't actually tracked it .-.
But now I'm tracking and I was absolutely delighted to see an update! This is such a sweet fic, I love the idea of Bill being so naive, and having player Tom to take care of him. I'm so looking forward to see how their relationship develops, and what's in store for them in the upcoming chapters :) You write magnificently!

Well, congratulations for the THF Awards nomination. I loved thirteen all through and I really think you did a great work with the plot and the characters there!
I'm enjoying Lovesong so much. I'm so very curious about Tom's background; and this George's proposal of making a band was absolutely amazing, too. I would love to read more on that later.

I remember watching that episode of THTV thinking, is Tom pregnant? Is that why he wears the baggy clothes? Because he eats like he's either pregnant, or a desperate college student! It was a lovely first date. :D I like how Tom pulled back on his seduction technique, he seems to have realized how inexperienced Bill is. But he's still determined to woo him; perfect. I enjoyed their banter, and Gustav's attempt to explain "love" to Bill. I think he roughed out a pretty good explanation!
