Whera are you dear author? Still thinking of this beautiful story of yours now and then, wondering what happend to you and what would have happened to your characters in Wayward. Up to this day I still think it was one of the most intriguing, original and beautiful stories on this site.
Just felt like letting you know you have been missed.

This fic is so different and the plot is really original, it instantly intrigued me! I'm so glad I took the time to read this! The characters are just so interesting and the development of their relationship is so so sweet and realistic! I really hope you're gonna continue this cause this is a great fic and I can't wait to see how it's gonna go from now on for them. Thank you for sharing this with us, I really really enjoyed it! =)

HOKAY xD honestly, one of the big things i wanted to read when I signed up was a story with the Amish in it, so I got really excited when I found it, and this is a brilliant brilliant story, and I hope we'll see more of it one day :)

Lol, a story this epic needs to always have a recent-ish review. I'm just going to reiterate (if I may speak for the readers) that we're looking forward to whenever you continue this! :DD
Also, I'm totally gonna re-read this.
Author's Response: Awww, you're so sweet, thank you. :'3 But I think you'll be glad to know that I'm working on the next chapter now!

This is amazing,
I have finally gotten around to reading it and I really really am enjoying this so much.
The writing reminds me a lot of your "Turn Back Time" which was a great joy to read as well (I have to say a special THANK YOU because that whole story had entertained the endless boring hours at work!), which is even comforting in a way because it almost feels that the characters are somehow familiar, despite the fact that you had "switched" them and now it's Bill who comes from the modern world and brings the light of freshness (and a whole lot of confusion!).
I must admit that the excessive amounts of beautifully phrased descriptions were rather distracting to read, making me yearn for more action on behalf of the characters, instead of reading through their inner mind-battles. I know that a person can think a mile a minute and intake a lot of visual information from their surrounding, but it's not always even registering in a person's brain, so perhaps a little less of descriptions could make the story a whole lot more active. I do appreciate how you're showing your reader the world Bill has gotten into, but then the character interactions suffer a lot by drifting off into the background, which is a pity because I really really really adore Tom and Bill in this one.
I think my favorite scene was when Bill had found Tom in the bathroom at night - that whole scene held such an amazingly surprising wave of tension, even sexual charge, that I wondered if Bill was actually going to seduce Tom. Even though he didn't do it actively (which I admit I wanted to happen *cough* ), he still did it in a figurative way when both of them realized that Bill was pantsless, and Tom could see all that expanse of Bill's long gorgeous legs. I really really loved it, how Tom just couldn't not appreciate the alluring beauty of Bill.
I can't help worrying for them, though, because it's obvious Bill will have to leave at some point, but I hope that you will be kind to your characters and make them happy. There are chances, perhaps even for both of them, to fit into each others world, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this is going to unravel. Maybe even some sexy times, too :-)
I'm looking forward to the continuation of this story, I hope you won't let us wait for long!

Have I told you how MUCH I love this story? Yeah, I guess I have, lol:-)
Gosh, the ambiance surrounding the boys and the interaction between them is such a turn on, and you still manage to paint it so vaguely, so delicately. Just having them stand next to each other at the play field, conversing casually was a brilliant reading experience....or a Deborah/Bill moment at the cloth line, when she notices how greatly Bill effects her son....or when Tom forgets all about upcoming visit to the church...
I can't get enough of your attention to detail when you work with facial expressions of your characters. It is so impeccably fine tuned:-) I have noticed that some of the reviewers might not to think the same on that one, seeing it as perhaps too detailed but I enjoyed it very much. It is almost like a cinematographic experience for me. I appreciate the way you write VERY MUCH. There is such vast amount of fics out there that are straight to the point, sharp and quick and full of "he shrugged", "he smirked", "he grinned", "he frowned" etc. , so I enjoy vehemently when you take another approach and "work" that face of Bill or Tom. That's truly unique.
Has Tom forgotten about a possible visit he has to pay to Anna and her parents on Sunday after church, are they going to discuss the wedding plans? Is that it? The wedding should happen pretty soon, huh.
And yeah, your plot is not an easy one if you want to avoid the clichés and over-romanticized improbable but predictable happy ending. Fingers crossed girl:-)
I feel though that Tom and Bill should talk some; addressing carefully what is unfolding in front of them. I think that Bill deserves to be assured that he is not tainting "poor Tom" and Tom should probably let him know that. As for Tom....God, that one is difficult... idk, he must be under enormous amount of emotional distress right now with wedding downing on him and all.
Looking forward to a new update.

I can't believe I've never read this story before! It is amazing, I love Bill, and Tom's relationship growing, and the dynamics of it in the amish culture.

I love how Tom is opening up, how displeased he is at the idea of Bill leaving. You are doing a wonderful job with this story, keep up the good work!!
