I didn't realize the youko had powers, and now I'm definitely intrigued by what they can do.
And I really enjoyed Andreas' longing. It was nice to see the twins from an outside perspective.

It will take a bit of time for these two to learn what they can do...at this point, they'd start getting tested and coached by their parent(s) who would be magically inclined. :/

OMG! YOUKO-VERSE. i stumbled upon your original stuff looking for random slash on the internet and fell in love with this verse. It's so amazing. I've been dying for more and then I remembered seeing one of the art pieces for this and was all *squee*. okay, I'mma go read this now. So glad there's youko-fic to read!!!

This year starts up with a bang in more ways than one! OMG, I am very curious about what Bill did and how this will affect them further on/from this point forward.
My heart breaks for Andi, but yet he is still such a wonderful friend to both of them!
I totally get where Gordon's coming from dammit, cause I wanna kick some ass too! Those kids are horrid, just absolute monsters!
And yet, despite the sad parts, this is very beautiful and I can't wait to see what else is in store for these wonderful kits! ♥!!!

Tay, can I tell you again how happy I am to see more kits? Can I tell you again how excited I am for this year in their lives? So much happens in this chapter! So much drama and love and sweet kit touches. I was absolutely spellbound by this, and while it's a long chapter, it seemed to pass by so quickly. Wonderful story, wonderful writing! ♥

Ahhh the kits! Yay! Sooo glad to see them again. And grrr those damn bullies! But I love the hurt/comfort in this with the twins. And Tom scares me sometimes. He's gonna get in over his head sometime I just know it. :D

Okay, first of all, I really like that this chapter is from Andreas' point of view. You give such a keen sense of how it feels for him to be in a kind of limbo with the twins: not a complete outsider like the rest of the kids, but not able to intrude on Bill and Tom's tight bond. And that crush on Bill - not surprised, but poor Andi. He's still such a good friend, though. Oh! By the way, I also love how so many aspects of the kits' story parallel the twins' real life.
GAH, I freaked out when Tom got hit. And Bill's upset, and then his use of magic... I'm not surprised that was triggered by his twin being hurt. That whole section was so intense.
I adored the ending line, by the way. It's so true and so perfect. ♥!

I'm sorry you freaked, but glad it was tense for you! Yep, Bill's power was definitely triggered under stress and duress.

I am so happy you started posting! *bounces* Love, love, LOVE the chapter! Loved that even if Andreas is feeling warm and fuzzy for Bill, he realizes the twins are very much a unity and that trying to get in the middle won't be a good idea. Loved that Bill could scare those boys off, and take Tom's aches away as well. I'll certainly be looking forward to more of this! :D

YEA! The Youko Twins are back! Bill reminded me of Jool from Farscape, the girl with the sonic scream that could melt metal and cause people to go deaf. Awesome power to have, btw.
