Yesss. I love this. Can't wait for more. I'm a real romantic sap most of the time, I really look forward to following this
Author's Response: Estricnina: rreloaded! It's always a pleasure! Definitely grateful that you're looking forward to it. I think all of us have a sore, romantic bone in our body. I, myself, have tried to break in numerous times, but it's rather rubbery and stubborn. We're hoping you enjoy what's to come - thanks for reading!

Hi !
Actually, mémoire has 2 meanings in French.
La mémoire, a feminine word, means memory.
Le mémoire, a masculine word, is a dissertation or a paper.
If you use the plural, it means "memoirs", you're right about that =)
I thought you meant "Memories of" which is why I suggested you "Souvenirs du Titanic".
"Memory" is the most common meaning and I had no idea you wanted to say "Memoirs" ! I'm sorry about that =S
Now the title is correct =)
Author's Response: No problem! I'm glad it's sorted out anyway. I appreciate your helping us out with that. Cheers! ^--^

....well. I am not going to comment about other titanic fics...and I will say this:
I was EXTREMELY pleased to see two of my fave authors co-authing together, on a fic, no doubt, a period peice (*swoons*) as well. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart, I wish you both well, and the time that you have taken with this, shows, and pays off. YAY!
Author's Response: HollyWoodFix: We are very flattered about your kind words! I am a big fan of your work also, so to hear such amazing compliment from you is an absolute honour! We really hope you continue to enjoy this story ♥
Estricnina: You're amazing, thank you~ Your compliments are far too kind, haha~ From the bottom of -my- heart, I'm grateful to you, and hope you will enjoy what is to come in this fic. Thanks for reading man!

wow.. This is really good! It's so well written, I can clearly see how much time you two have spent on this. *favorite*
Author's Response: We appreciate it! Thanks for all your support, and we're really happy you're enjoying it. ♥

I am so very excited!!!
I cant explian how excited I am!
Yes, there have been some titanic stories posted, yes i have read them, but this one is the best I have read! You to together, writing a story is just pure amazingness!! Thank you sooo much for taking my prompt! This is so beautifuly written! You can be sure to see alot more of me, since I will defiently be reading AND reviewing throughout this story! :D
Author's Response: Estricnina: That's quite a compliment, thank you. We're glad you have enjoyed what we've brought to the table, despite the setting/event being beaten to death by a wave of fics recently. ^^" We weren't expecting (figurative) competition, until very recently. o.o; There's always room for one more, I suppose. You're very welcome, and we were incredibly excited to take your prompt - it gave us all sorts of ideas and motivation to write, being as not only we, but everyone loves Titanic. n___n I'm sure we're both looking forward to seeing more of you around here, most definitely. Thanks for your enthusiasm, and thanks for reading! :D
HollyWoodFix: There isn’t a lot to add on to what Estricnina said, but I just wanted to also thank you personally, not only for the prompt, but for your enthusiasm as well. We appreciate you taking the time to read and review, and hope to hear more from you in the future! <3

I'm so excited to see a story about the Titanic ! This first chapter is excellent I can't wait to read the second one =)
I just have something to say about the title, it doesn't really make sense.
The correct title could be : La Mémoire du Titanic or if you want to use the plural, Mémoires du Titanic.
It sounds as if the Titanic itself was remembering what happened. I don't know if that is what you want, but it sounds much better if you use the plural.
If you want to make it sounds as if people remembered the Titanic, you have to say : Souvenirs du Titanic. It's more logical to use the plural, at least in French.
I hope it helps =)
Author's Response: We both thank you for your support and enthusiasm!
Estricnina: Regarding the title, thank you for your advice! My French is almost non-existent these days, but I remain a bit confused here. Does 'Mémoire' not function the same way as the English word 'Memoir' does? As in 'Titanic Memoir', versus 'Memories of the Titanic'? I TOTALLY thought about fixing it to Mémoire -du- Titanic, and then last minute, I was like, nah, it looks to be okay... now I regret that decision, haha! It seems from the way you explained it, it serves more like 'Memories of'~ =0 The intention was in fact not to be remembered from a human's point of view, but just a memoir of the event itself. Suppose I'll fix it up so that it is 'Mémoires du Titanic', but I'm really confused as to the function of 'Mémoire' now... but I thank you deeply for your help! It was very kind of you! ^---^ Thanks for reading! ♥

I saw that the two of you took the prompt and couldn't wait to read the story!
Now here it is and the prologue already looks very promising ;-) I feel like I'm being pulled into the year 1912, thanks to your use of language and so on :)
I see similarities with the movie, but it's nothing bad and I guess some can't be avoided^^
Oh, and you don't need to worry about the other Titanic-stories around here ;)
Looking forward to see how the next chapters will be :)
Author's Response: Very happy that you were excited for it! So happy you enjoyed what we've put together, and hope you will stick with us as we move forward? :D
Yes, it will have inevitable similarities with the 1997 blockbuster hit, which in a way gives everyone something to look forward to and connect with; however, it will no doubt, take on a life of its own, as well! Look forward to our own take on this tragic romance!
We're not worried as far as other stories go. In the beginning, we were a little sore-hearted because for reasons we stated (It felt personal, that someone went ahead like that, you know?), but we will just do our best and work hard on our own story. ^^ It's our only prerogative, that is, to do well and focus on our work.
You know, it's really funny that your name is whitestar! How suiting! Haha! Loving it! At any rate, we thank you deeply for your support and for reading. Cheers! ^^

I think this is the third titanic related story I've seen in the recent updates, and this one looks the most promising. I'm really excited to see where this is going, and I really hope nobody dies, even though I saw the warnings and see that onviously somebody is going to die.
Author's Response: HollyWoodFix: We are very flattered to hear that you are liking the story so far, and are happy to know that you are looking forward to more. It's true there have been quite a few 'Titanic' related stories to come up recently, but we were the ones that originally responded to the prompt, and worked really hard to get this story up and going. Thank you so much for the review, and we will try and have more for you as soon as we can. ♥
Estricnina:We apologise for the daunting character death warning! Well, we must be honest, only 700 of over 2200 people survived the Titanic disaster. I refuse to spoil the climax, but keep in mind there are a variety of major and minor characters, not limited to our two protagonists of course, and some may die, some may live, but the ending will be as fantastic as we can possibly make it regardless of the outcome. I hope you can still stick with us, and see where this goes, as the 1997 blockbuster is only an inspiration and not a guideline for us here in this story. Thanks for reading and reviewing, and we hope you enjoy what is to come! n___n rnrn

I'm loving it. It's totally different from the movie. I'm excited to see where it goes!
Author's Response: It will have it's similarities with the movie (1997), but it will take on a life of its own, for sure. We hope you'll like how we approach it, and want to thank you for reading! :D

I've been waiting for someone to make a story about titanic. I'm a huge Titanic fan. I loved the first chapter, and can't wait for the next one. I hope you don't give up and forget this story (:
Author's Response: We both are huge fans of the story as well! We definitely will not give up on the story, we've worked too long and too hard for that. Plus, we're looking forward to sharing it with you of course! n___n We hope you enjoy what is to come!
