I love this story so, so much.
In this story, Tom and Bill are as they are. No frills. This is truly them, the real deal. And it makes MY heart ache to read the closing paragraph and especially this:
"Sometimes Bill made his heart ache, made him want to pick up his little brother and squeeze him until he couldn’t breathe, made him want to wrap Bill in a little box full of cotton wool and gummi worms and keep him there, safe and secure, where no hurtful rumours, or faceless executives or playground bullies could ever get at him."
That is the exact sentiment of a parent. Sometimes, I think Tom sees Bill as his little girl.
Now, I would kill to read the same thing from Bill's POV.

I was enraptured the entire way through even though there was no dialogue, which doesn't really happen. It was so sweet and I absolutely adored it and...wow.

I agree, it wouldn't surprise me if Tom had standards for any possible girlfriend of Bill's.
The last sentence was the perfect ending.

Aw! Tom you make my heart ache! As the older sibling, I can totally relate to the overprotective feeling that comes along with the role, lol. I think that you captured both Tom and Bill perfectly! So cute, I love how Tom is trying to protect his brother from all the Bad Girls! LOL. I love this fic!

That was sad, but not in a cry your eyes out way, more it was sad in a deep and tender emotions way. I liked the way you convayed Tom's protective nature while still keeping him true to his 'I'm better because I'm older' attitude. Great job!

That's so cute. I love Tom's devotion to Bill and how much he wants to protect him. I also liked how you described how Bill can be "annoying, childish, utterly consumed with himself and horribly lazy," 'cause not many authors say anything bad about him :P (And I can picture Bill getting freaked out by The Ring, haha.)

Aayyyye, this was so pretty. I loved the part about reverting back to the beginning when they were just one being. For me, it just reinstates the fact that the boys can do whatever the fuck they want with each other. They're allowed.
