Author's Response: I like to think that they're married now. It's not a legal marriage, since they can't use Bill's real name, but it's symbolic and means a lot to them. Mama Rosa insisted on doing the catering. That woman makes an AMAZING Italian cream cake.

Ahhh thank you for the response! I thought you had abandoned the site years ago and was just kind of reviewing anyway haha but i'm glad Ou read it! Ah maaaaan i would have loved to read that, even if it was just a short one. Just feel so into this story. Even if it was just two chapters i guess it felt like more and we had enough time to get to know the characters (well Tom moreso) theough and through. That memory of them cuddles up by the fire was just perfect and like if they went back there and ... ahh so 'The Notebook'. I am just making up images in my head now haha.

Omg this sequel was literally perfect! The fact that they were apart for two years and still thinking of each other all the time killed me! ;_; But those postcard things were soooo cute and how Tom put them all in a photo album (good idea btw, i have all my postcards stored in some box somewhere but am gonna go to the shop tomorrow and get a little scrapbook now! hehe.) I said before how i love Tom's characterisation and i still do. Like this made me so happy and hopeful because i feel like even though it ended, i want to hope it all worked out and everything was perfect, Bill opened up ETC. Only thing i was missing was smut hehe. I mean the handjob was good but after the first story ended and i knew there was a sequel, i was like "sex will happen next" and then it didnt and i think it would have been soooo good! BUT at the same time, i already found the story perfect anyway and i mean there is no point in sex just for the sake of sex- there are enough pwp's on this site if i am that desperate haha. Let's get real now though... this could DEFINTIELY have another sequel. A trequel? Is that a thing? Like i want to know how things worked out for them, what Tom did job wise, if Bill ever came clean with anyone etc. OH and place for sex hehe. Seriously, i cant gush enough about this. I was sat on the train back from Manchester reading this and was totally entranced- i loved the extended length and your writing is just always so beautiful! :)

Fun (?) thing is that, once upon a time, there was a pseudo mini sequel to this (that I don't think got posted here? I don't remember, it was about 700 years ago). It was only about two pages long (not even) and you basically get to find out that, in the end, Tom ended up moving out to live with Bill. They got their own place and everything. There's no boning in it, but it sorta lets you know that, yeah, that's happened like a bazillion times. ;) As for these two stories (the posted ones), I kinda liked the lack of smut. Bill dug the shit out of Tom, but didn't want to just be some random lay. Love or nothing, baby. :D

Every time I look at a series, I think "It's Gaja and I like her stuff, so I'll like the fics in the series" and then I get to the series and I chicken out because so many of them are about things I'm uncomfortable with. I'm on Tumblr far too often to come up with a coherent way to approach emotional response to something this wonderful and fluffy.
