Awww, I adored Tom's attempt to deliver the little gift to Bill and I felt so sorry for them for it failing. It's understandable, but still... You wrote them so lovely way, so in love and tender. I love this couple so much!

Oh, beloved girl! You almost gave me a heart attack when I read "Final chance," and recover only when readin that there'll be thirteen more chapters.
What is it Tom wants to give Bill? Is it something physical? Like having sex for real? Will Tom be transfered and got depressed and sick? Could an angel get sick anyway?

Ooh Tom o___O I have a few ideas about what this last thing he wants to give to Bill is, but so far you've managed to surprise me so I'm most likely waaaay off xD Guh, Tom, GUH please don't throw away what you have with Bill though. I'm all fluttery and *__*
I'm glad HP is giving Tom one more chance, but at the same time I wish he wouldn't have to give him chances and just let him and Bill be. AND even HP didn't know why Tom was becoming more human, so that makes it about 231983 times more confusing xD

One last chance... this is very worrying. Tom already knows he's going to end up getting transferred, so I guess there's not a lot of hope... I can't wait to read the rest and I'm very happy to know that there is a lot more chapters to come!

Theory: Celia is someone Tom knew in his past life. Possibly someone who was close to him, possibly the person he died saving.
I'm really glad Tom told HP about what's been happening to him. I think it might have cleared his name a bit, in a way, because obviously if he's feeling things that he shouldn't, it could be the cause for his attachment to Bill. He's not just acting deviantly for the hell of it; he feels as much attachment to Bill as Bill does to him, and I think maybe HP assumed otherwise?
Also, Tom's mention of how the other angels would react to his relationship with Bill seems awfully similar to how people would react to the twins having a relationship irl. I imagine, if the twins were together, they would want to be able to boast it to the world, but of course they would be rejected and thought to be disgusting. I'm not sure if you did that on purpose, but I found it interesting nonetheless. :)
Another theory: Maybe something isn't wrong with Tom…maybe it's Bill? idk I'm just throwing around ideas.
I'm really eager to see what Tom wants to do with Bill, although I hope it doesn't separate them D8

And your insight into the comparison between Tom's realization of how people would treat them vs the real life situation if they were to come out with their relationship is very perceptive. I didn't do it on purpose, but that thought did cross my mind once when I read through it. And I'm very eager to post more. =)

to put it indelicately, seems like he's interested in going out with a bang...literally. i'd love to read it, but he just CANT be transferred!! i'll cry. bill will cry. and probably kill himself. that might be the way out of this, if their big job is to protect people and bill will kill himself if Tom isn't allowed to see him, maybe HP will have to get over it. Tom's becoming more...normal, anyway, so maybe there's some way...to 'transfer' him back to life? :3

I think Tom is still somewhat alive. I mean, like he was beaten or something and they never found his body so he's in a coma. Or, he's in a coma in the hospital.
It'd be cool for Bill to try and find his body dumped in the woods somewhere, though.

I see Andi's logic, but at the same time, I just want them to be together! There HAS to be something that Tom could do to stay with Bill... What about just staying in his world?
And what about those solid touches, things? Like if Bill can physically touch him, does that mean that he can be seen by others? Hmmmm... can't wait for more!
