I love that Bill's response to new feelings is to do research! He's my kind of guy. *g* I love how it's so clear in the story that he should follow his instincts: the descriptions of the romantic novels do nothing for him, but imaging Tom without a shirt on... hee! It's lovely.
Tom is so marvellous in this story, I'm so pleased whenever he makes an appearance! Knowing where Bill is at all times and randomly calling or appearing is so romantic. Their phone conversation makes me smile, it's so absurd and hilarious. "Early twenty-second century work for you?" "I was hoping for something sooner. This evening, perchance?" :D And later, when he embraces Bill from behind, I felt warmer too; it's such a lovely description of how welcome Tom's presence is in the chilly night!
This is so wonderful -- the sweet frustration Bill feels when he wants to say something lewd and doesn't know how! It's adorable and so hot at the same time. If only Tom knew! I kind of wish Bill had tried, though. His "With tongue" seems to work very well; it would have been lovely to read his innocent, yet passionate dirty talk! I think he's so cute and innocent that even just saying that he'd pictured Tom without a shirt on that day would have turned Tom on incredibly. And then they could have been husky and breathy together some more. *_* Sorry, phone sex is one of my kinks...
Oh, I just realised that this story turns the tables deliciously: this time Tom is the dense one! Bill climbs on top of him and wants to get very close to his body and expresses a devout wish to keep kissing and do more, hopefully, and what does Tom do? He talks about the possibility of Bill falling when Bill is clinging so nicely to him! (Not that I mind, because, well, wings. *_* Anything that makes them mention wings is just lovely in my book!) And he comforts Bill when he should be looking for a private place for just the two of them. *shakes head at Tom* :D
I love reading about Bill's adventures researching sex! His POV is so hilarious: "with more exclamation points than the sentiment deserves" -- he's so wonderfully underwhelmed by things like sex ads and erotic literature! Deciding that he doesn't want to know what DP means is probably a good idea. Oh Bill.
Bill's fascination and horror and burning cheeks crack me up. This is absolutely marvellous. A Cupid watching porn! Hee.
Aww, poor Bill, having difficulty doing his work! I sympathise, but I also think it's kind of funny that he makes other people so passionate. He's got so much passion in him! No wonder he just bursts out "I want sex!" instead of something less direct. :D I love that he does! It's fitting for this Bill, and it's funny. And it's so hot that he wants Tom, and Tom didn't think he'd even want sex at all, and there's Bill trying to feel comforted by Tom's touch and Tom's scent and only ending up hornier. *g*
What was Tom's plan, if you care to reveal it? I'd love to read this whole story from Tom's point of view, now! I'd love to know how he's adored Bill for such a long time and waited so patiently for Bill to get a clue, and when he finally got Bill in his arms he thought that would be all, and he's been content to kiss Bill sweetly even though he's ached for more... but since he says he had a plan, maybe he was going to try and seduce Bill soon? I'd love to have read that, too! (I'm a greedy, greedy reader. In addition to the actual story that I get to read, which is such a privilege especially when it's as wonderful a story as this, I want to read the same thing from the other POV, and I want to read things that didn't happen in this story but could have happened...)
Tom's "It's only me" is so lovely -- I can feel their connection, and how they've known each other for so long, and that they're comfortable with each other and they're friends and love each other. And also that Tom spend such a long time quietly loving Bill and waiting! *melts* Yes, I know I already mentioned that, but it's so incredibly sweet! I'm not going to get over it any time soon.
I love that Tom kisses Bill's frown-lines away in the hotel room, just like Bill thought he would do at the beginning of the story! It's lovely that they know each other so well. I also love that Bill thinks Tom looks especially handsome on his knees. *g* It's a good position, I agree; good for blowjobs and proposals, for example!
"He thinks he knows where he'd like those fingers to go." Wow! *fans self* Bill is getting the hang of it quickly, isn't he? Tom, too; I approve of him pinning Bill against the loveseat so much.
The sex scene is so amazing! From them pressing their bodies together for the first time and Bill begging to rubbing against each other, hips and bare skin, and their wings. *_* I love that Bill sees Tom's face like he's never seen before. And they're so sweet and loving, after! "I love you. You're heavy." Hee!
"Tom's laughter cuts off abruptly" -- I love that! And I love that Bill decides it's "later" so soon. "as the heat starts simmering in his belly," what a gorgeous description! They're going to have so much sex, aren't they? *g* That makes me happy! This is such a wonderful story; thank you! The Cupid Bill and Tom are adorable and I loved spending more times with them. ♥

Oh wow, this was so perfect. I love the idea of naive twins who don't have a clue what sex is and this was great. Especially Bill looking up porn.
