That was truly beautiful. Congratulations to your first THF story. What an introduction :-)
I have read quite a few of "these" kind of stories when one of the twins dies and the other inevitably follows. Interesting thing is that no matter how devastating and tragic such a thing would be in real life, in fictional realms it makes total sense, is very romantic and often desired as an outcome. I do not know what it really says about me, as a reader, but this story was incredibly poetic, beautiful and fulfilling to me. You wrote it with great sensitivity and attention to detail.
