I know just how Bill feels. I hate clocks too. Seriously. I HATE clocks. I don't like to know what time it is and I refuse to set an alarm clock. I don't like time. I don't like it like I don't like GPS.
Clocks remind me of how I'm running out of time for everything. School, work, love, marriage, babies... if one more person asks me why I haven't gotten married or had babies or picked a major I think I will lose my mind. The pressure of time is causing me to lose my love for life.
God I need help. I wish I had a twin.

Aww, this was sad yet sweet, so... bittersweet? You actually got me to cry, right alongside Bill when he was in the SUV after the show. Just thinking about their future, in reality, trying to picture those two apart - like, really, truly apart, married with kids, living in separate houses, maybe even separate towns? Oh, it just breaks my heart. I don't know. Maybe I'm letting all of the beautiful fictional twins I've read through the years get the best of my mind, but they are close in real life; no one can deny that. The things they say in interviews and the way they look at each other in pure admiration prove that. So to picture them drifting apart, it just my heart shatter into a billion pieces. ;_;
But yay for the bittersweet, happy ending. :) This was cute, overall, and nicely written. The clock imagery was quite good, too. You know, I actually hate clocks. Ugh. But I actually always set mine a few, several minutes ahead - it gives me a few more false minutes than reality. ;)
