Funny thing is though the twin I'm friends with looks like Bill, his brother looks like Tom. And they were born on September 1, 1989 in Germany. :O

What a terrific chapter this was. I am really glad you let us in into Tom's mind; his way of thinking, feeling and reasoning.

You did such a great job with making it seem so utterly realistic and believable. Nothing cliché in this chapter at all. Interaction between Tom and Bill was superb.

I could feel both pain, confusion and fear on both sides. Bill is the younger one, adoring Tom, loving him, not being able to figure out what is going on and how to win his brother back. It was such a lovely, still sad moment when Bill get Tom an expensive hat as a gesture of his love and devotion. He wants him back so badly and he is just way too young to be able to talk his way around it intellectually so he shows his devotion by getting him a present. That was so sweet. My heart goes to him.

I really liked how you wrote Tom's psychology in this chapter. You did fantastic job.
He is just opening up and admitting his true feelings and emotions to himself by thinking about them. That is the first step. Before he just acted upon his urges, no he is actually addressing certain issues. How he deals with his guilt and confusion about the whole thing with Bill and that is by avoidance and keeping away from his brother is very logical and once again totally realistic considering he is only 15.

I can't wait to see where you take it next.

Sry I haven't commented til now, but I was excited to catch up. Now that I have i'm sad there isn't more to read. I have to say this is simply amazing. Ur writing is phenomenal & the way ur characters are feeling and thinking is something I would imgaine to be spot on. It's so realistic and my heart aches for both Tom & Bill. Fantastic job on this. I like this chapter a lot. It was a shorter one, but it was really good. I think you are taking the right direction with this fic but there is still so much ahead. The guys are in a hole, that is true, but it is all good given the circumstances and their age, everything must feel so intense, confusing, volatile.

I really like how you write Bill, his still child-like understanding of how things should work, how smitten he is with Tom and how he seems to blame himself as being an inadequate sex partner rather then allowing himself to rightfully hurt. Brilliant work.

And for Tom....a really good description of him in this installment. He struggles, feels ashamed and guilty but still opts for the "most typical route males usually take when facing emotional hurt and shame" and that is avoidance by which he is confusing and hurting Bill even more.

I think that the guys have a looooong way to go, it just depends on you how much you want to stick with this fick. I personally love its premises, both characters work really well, the plot is interesting. You writing is really good, sharp, clear, catchy, descriptive. The most difficult part certainly is the psychology of the characters. That can be tricky and shouldn't be rushed.

I wish you wouldn't go a predictable route of sudden realization on Tom's behalf how badly he behaved, then he apologized, then had mind-blowing, fabulous sex with Bill and all is good again. There is definitely so much more into this story.

As someone else had already said, "do not stop there, you just about started" and I have to agree. Isn't it fabulous? It was supposed to be just a one-shot and now.....so much potential there:-)

Thank you. :) rnrnThey are definitely finding things intense and confusing; when I'm writing anything for this story I seem to have Tom standing on one shoulder yelling one thing, and Bill on the other shouting the complete opposite.rnrnBill is definitely more confused than Tom in my mind. Everything seems to be clear to Tom; he's currently stuck in a rut of self loathing. It all makes sense to him, the bottom line being that he's a bad person. But Bill, he's struggling with things slightly. He's trying to understand, but he doesn't know how, which is why you're right when you say he's blaming himself.rnrnOh, I am glad that you like the description of Tom, especially since I remember you being confused by him in the last chapter. I agree that he was sort of all over the place in the last one, but I feel it was leading up to this, where everything clicked into place for him.rnrnI'm really keen on sticking with this fic for as long as it takes! It's my most successful story for any fanfiction and I'm just loving writing it. I really don't want to end up letting the story down, so I'm determined to stick with it.rnrnI'm not going to go down that route, because I know that if I was reading a story like this and it ended in that way I would be very let down by it.
