Author's Response: Is everyone out to get me lately? I don't know how to explain to everyone how bogged down I am with school and personal issues... I'm working on it, believe me. I'm dying to get the second chapter of this story up, its potential seems to be so much fun... I'm doing my best. 2 weeks tops, I'll try to have it out by then, before then is my goal really. Updates, updates, when did they become nightmares... I would never abandon Tom - nor Bill for that matter. Don't worry, updates will happen.

Oh I loved this! It seems like a oneshot, but it's not, isn't it? I think I may read this again, after i'm done reviewing. I absolutely love how you described their relationship, and the balloons in the creek, and I felt it when Bill said he was gradutating.

This story is so beautifully depicted, as always, love the way you describe things and feelings and all that's happening. Loved how we saw Bill and Tom's friendship grow and turn into something that help them both change into better persons. The end of the chapter was bittersweet, with Bill having to leave and Tom being so broken about that. I'll be looking forward to seeing where you'll take us next.

I adore the trust you build up in the beginning of Tom opening up to Bill and not wanting anything to do with him, but Bill inevitably worms his way into Tom's heart much to Tom's dismay and then breaks it, (for the better) I assume ;)

You know, your banners always amaze me. I look at them, and just sit there for a minute like, "Woahhh". Also your writing does the same. It's always good, this one being no exception to that. In fact, I didn't actually read the Genre, Warnings, Pairings or anything for this. I just read, and I"m glad I did.
The closeness of those two was really...it was just really nice. Lame usage of words, but that's all I can come up with. Heart breaking though. Him just, leaving...:/ Characters, awesome of course. I really liked Tom's "Don't care about nothing" kind of attitude, and how he tries hiding his curiosity and such from Bill. The balloon idea was awesome, I love it. It actually really is a good way to let things go, and kind of open up. Wow, you've got me babbling emotional stuff...
I hope you get better soon, my heart goes out to you, being sick sucks :/ And actually, I do use the "burnt" skin, so I don't know if it looks different to normal or not for me...o.o There's not really much I can say about this, other than it was great and I can't wait for more updates. I dunno, it's really got me thinking. -heart-
