That was really sweet. Oh, if you don't mind me saying, you may want to do another proofread again or so~ Toward the middle, there's a few grammatical slip ups, and you have a couple fragments hanging around. They're tricky. XD
Anyhow, it's really nice that you went there for this fic, because this is a touchy subject. However, I think we can all agree, the soldiers giving up their lives for their country are the bravest of us all. The emotion was well thought out, and as injured as Tom was, it's indubitably relieving he'll return home to the love of his life - something many won't get the chance to ever do. Great shot, mate. ^^

Well, I enjoyed the story.
I was in the military, U.S. Navy Seabees. I never actually saw anything like that personally, but I've heard some major horror stories about it. I think you did a swell job.
