I'm curious about the reasons Bill and Tom are going through this period of war, how did it start, how they were before etc. I think it would help me understand it a little better and some analyzing would give the story and the characters more layers. But maybe I'm just impatient as I'm really enjoying this!
Author's Response: It mentions briefly in the first chapter that they had always been best friends before the year of war. The reasons for it will be revealed as the fic progresses. Right now, Tom's behavior isn't supposed to make much sense to the readers or to Bill, but in time Tom's mindset will be elucidated :-) I'm not just making him be a jerk for no reason, don't worry! They're fine and affectionate one second and violent and hateful the next. It's all Tom's doing too! Most of it. Does he feel he has to put up a front for some reason? I really love how you depicted their interactions, whether it was them fighting or being nice. Tom's so jealous and protective! Does Bill see it that way? Probably not.

Author's Response: LMAO! Very true. I think being around the twins would be both very entertaining and annoying in real life, because of their insane moodswing-y behavior. WHAT! what happen in the time Bill said 'Tom was creepy' and now to 'Sure Tomi get in my bed' @_@! ch, where did the angst go *looks for angst*. well this is a major change from Tom "hating" Bill and Bill being mad at Tom for "hating" him for some reason. well lets see were it takes us and if i still want to continue reading lol ^^a
Author's Response: What happened is: they got drunk, LOL! It mentions in the first chapter how Tom "sometimes goes back to his old self." I'm basing this behavior on how the twins say in interviews that they get into horrible fights and then 5 minutes later, everything's forgotten. They're going to be swinging between getting along great and ripping each other's heads off this whole fic, so if that puts you off, you probably won't like it.
