The beginning is so suspenseful! I was so afraid Bill was going to make things worse with Erich or end up making out with him or something O_O or embarrass himself hugely, since his explanation was so obviously fake. This story makes me feel a great deal! And that's a good thing. :) Especially the fact that I could be relieved when everything turned out all right, and Erich seems so understanding and they're still friends.
Ooh, I never expected Wolfie to come talk to Bill! This is so interesting. "He'd learned to be wary of bedrooms at parties." Hee! Oh Bill, honey! He's learned so much this summer. :D I love how you write Bill, thinking about the possibility of Tom slaughtering him and yet deciding to tell Wolfie the thing that's going to drive her away, and so innocently, honestly cocky about him being prettier than her. "sometimes the truth hurt," ha! I love that Wolfie says he sounds like he's in love with "her" because that is incredibly narcissistic of him -- and he just ignores it because her words can't do any damage to his love for himself! This is fantastic, so funny and charming.
"We're twins. That's not gay." Thanks for the laugh! *g* They're so delightful! I love the making out scene and Bill's tummy flipping. ♥ And you even make me love their fight, how on earth do you do that? I hate fights and yet I'm all *_* when Tom pins Bill down (well, all right, maybe that's obvious, but the rest isn't!) and they yell and cry! Wow. But I do love it -- I love that Tom reveals finally what he thought, that Bill had left him. Poor Tom, thinking that Bill was going to become famous without him! :( So that's why he was so mean to Bill, that's why they haven't got along at all!
The sex scene is so hot. *ded* So hot. At first I was worried that someone would walk in on them but then I forgot everything other than Tom fingering Bill. Guh. I love that Tom's so enthusiastic about the idea (he's thought about it, hasn't he? Had some little fantasies maybe? *g*) and pleads and swears he'll be right back! I love that Bill is so into it, both while imaging it beforehand and when Tom does it. And Tom's frantic "Fuck, fuck," and dirty talk. *_* This is so hot through and through! It's amazing.
The dialogue at the end is just marvellous. ♥ The way you write them is perfect, their jokes and teasing and the sheer love that shines through!
I don't like fights. ._. I want secret footage of Tom and Bill cuddling!
Author's Response: It's very rewarding to hear that you feel invested in this fic! Bill's excuse was just awful, lol. But there's really no way to talk your way out of sending someone a text like that and then not contacting them for 5 weeks! Of course, Bill didn't know about the text, but he had been planning to ditch Erich to please Tom.
The Wolfie/Bill scene was one I had been looking forward to writing, mostly because I enjoy when Bill is conceited XD It's always so harmless. Like in Caught on Camera, when he keeps making comments about how he's so pretty and how he looks better than the rest of the band, lol!
The "twins = not gay" thing is inspired by the insane things the twins say in interviews about how "identical twins are special and different from brothers" and "we are one person in two bodies", etc.
I hate when people fight irl, but I love when the twins do it. They're just hilarious to me. That footage of them with Ingrid and Klaus cracks me up, because it's like watching TWO old married couples!
I wouldn't have someone walk in on the twins! Plenty of fics explore the scenario of "twincest exposed!" and those can be great, but that's not what I'm going for here. This is purely a story about Bill at 13, dealing with his life, his career aspirations, his brother, his sexuality, etc. at that age. I would feel it a distraction from that to add a subplot about the twins being caught.
Secret footage of Tom and Bill cuddling (*o*) I am with you on that 100%! But only if it's not too secret, otherwise I'd feel bad for them :-S A THTV episode where the cameraman is filming the unaware twins cudding while watching a movie - GREAT! Papparrazzi shots of them on vacation- not so great :-( I would still love it 6_6 but I would also feel sorry for them..."Can't they even cuddle in peace?!" sort of thing :-B

'Nyways! I like the way you've covered the problems. It's hard to write the twins in a way that matches their young age, but you've nailed it :D I'm sure that they'd been older and this happened, it would've been different.

Either option 1 or 5. I think the other options would be too much for me to handle, although I'd like to see the one where Bill said he threw Tom onto a glass table and gave him the scar in his cheek. Just to see how Bill makes up for it :3

Yeah, if they were older, it would've been different. This fic is very much about Bill (and Tom, too) at 13, and how a 13 year old handles things.
