In response to your response to my other comment. Yes, I agree. It is very aggravating when you get really into a story then it ends up abandoned. or indefinately on hiatus. grr.
Its why I tend to wait fics out for awhile and see how well they are updated. I normally don't read anything that looks like it is updated less than twice a month.
There have been exceptions of course. Every now and then there is an exceptional summary that I just can't pass up...but I still refuse to read anything that is a WIP and has less than 5 chapters out, unless its being updated daily.
Anyway, excellent work on this chapter. I'm glad you finally spelled it out for Tom, and the rest of us that just weren't really getting it. I prefer when an author answers the questions about things going on in the fic, in the fic and not in the reviews, wherever it is possible.
Can't wait for more! I think this might be a record for me on comment length, definately on for me on this fic, but I think possibly for me ever.

William really is showing these feeble mortals who they're dealing with.
It's interesting how concerned he is with how aware Bill is becoming. As Tom points out, he creates the awareness himself. Maybe, he's afraid of letting Bill get a taste of what he's capable of if he knew what the powers he truly possess? Or maybe William is afraid of what he uses bill for... the humanity? A mix of these powers with humanity would make William - I'm not sure what I mean because he probably wouldn't care, but a bad person? *g*
Tom might be these poor soldiers only chance now. I'm not even sure he has any means to lessen William's wrath. He's godlike in this state and cares not about the aftermath of his big moment.
Am dying to know what happens now :)
