and i have a quick question: what do the Leeches look like? do they look like the Dementors from Harry Potter, or different?
Author's Response: Hmm I think Dementors are scarier looking. I describe Leeches sort of zombie looking. When they haven't fed they look lifeless, dead. Pale, gray skins, and skeletal thin. When they feed, they look more like humans, they look livelier, but on a clear day they're still easily to tell apart from humans. "there's" should be "there was"
And that feeling William speaks of
"speaks" should be "spoke"
Only 'cause the story is supposed to be in past tense.
Also, oh my goodness, now I expect William to get trapped in that thing. I have no doubt that seal actually works XD

The only thing I would fix is where it says:

It would be much easier to understand like this:
“Of all the eras and places to stumble into your world, it happened in yours.”
Tom turned to look at him. “What do you mean?”
People's motions stick with their dialogue ;)
