Hope is such a lovely name, and her character is sweet.
The dream Bill had broke my heart! I reread a couple of times until I finally triggered tears. ;) It was so sad, and I adore when Bill's 'wife' is more dominate or whatever. :D (that's how it was shown to me at least.. usually women say 'don't leave me!' but in this case, the male. I LOVE THAT YOU KNOW.) I adoreddd it. And how Bill cried in his sleep and Hope woke him up, it felt like deja vu from another fic/story/movie I could swear it. buuuuut doesn't matter.
Love your story.
