I'm crying. I love this story so much. And I can relate since my dad was deployed for a whole year (2008). I cried so hard when he was leaving and refused to say goodby. I thought that if I didn't, somehow he would stay. He couldn't stay obviously and I regretted it for so long. We were so inexpressibly happy when he came back. I think you did a wonderful job of showing the emotions of family of deployed soldiers. Thank you so much!!

Awww that was so sweet! It reminds me of when my army boy came home early and surprised me. Except I punched him for not telling me and the sex had to wait because he showed up at my work haha. But you definitely captured the emotions very well
