My mind just screamed : Nonono NO! when I got to the end of this chapter only to see that there wasn't a next one in a way that's never quite happened to me before...
This is probably the best story I've read in a while... If it was a book, it would be one of those books you read through the night and that makes you forget to eat because you just need to find out the next part.
I don't think I can accurately express how much I love this story, so I'll leave it at this.

Stupid fucking Tom. One step forward three steps back. Seems that's how it always is with him. I wish Bikl had just walked away. I can't wait to see how Tom is going to mend things with Bill if/when they become more cause he has a lot to make up for. It was still good even if it was short.

this was a beautiful, heart-wrenching chapter. im so happy that tom has stopped being an ass, for now, and that bill is finally showing emotion about his father's imminent passing. i loved that bill stayed in the woods...it embodied the hopelessness and confusion that sometimes overwhelms us all...can't wait for more. ooh, and congrats on entering art school :) and good luck

Aw, a very emotional chapter. I didn't think I would cry but right when Gordon said, "I remember drawing with you" I started tearing and my nose hurt a little.
If you're not already planning it, I'd like Tom to have a relapse. Go back to being mean or cold, just once. Because it cranks up the conflict.

Awwww, so many things happening on this chapter. I loved that any awkwardness between Tom and Bill got dissolved in lieu of Bill's sadness over his dad's illness. I loved that Tom didn't even think twice of offering Bill a bit of comfort now that he needs it the most. All in all a fantastic update. Well worth the wait.

Thank God Tom gave Bill a hug instead of being a dick-as he has been in the past. Love the pace at which thing's are changing between them.
