I fell in love with this story. Bill and Tom are so in love and so connected. It's sweet. And I cried so bad when Gordon died, it was so sad and so well written.

What an amazing chapter. Rain suited in it so well and it set the overall mood, Bill's incecurities a Tom's inner torment we just got a glimpse of went along with it so well.
Bill's waking up in bed with Tom and everything that followed was incredible. You wrote it so, so well. The second paragraph was deliciously descriptive and beyond beautiful.
Tom's reaction (him leaving without a word for work in the feelds) was harsh on Bill but quite understandable. And Tom's “Don’t let me hurt you, Bill,” Tom exhales, then, “I don’t want it to be too much.” - oh my, he is truly struggling with his emotions isn't it?
So, I can't wait to see what's going to happen next. Hopefully soon?

First, your writing. Sometimes it just carries me away. Evening bleeds navy-blue into the horizon-- I love that.
Tom's gift of of the bracelet made me tear all up, and then their culmination scene. SO, so beautiful.

I just started reading this the other day and I really really like it. It's incredibly well written, especially the relationship between both Bill and his father, and between Bill and Tom. You portait both the characters and the surroundings so nicely! Love it! Plus it's so smooth and easy to read.
Sometimes I've had the feeling Tom swivels a bit in and out of character, but the last chapters it seems like you captured him better and the development seems more real. Another thing I think you could do a bit better, is to make it clearer to the reader where all this actually is leading. It's not entirely clear to me, and it makes it less interesting to follow through to the end, because there is not a lot of anticipation going on. I understand the relationship between Bill and Tom is the main focus, but yea... just include me as a reader a bit more in your plans for the future (I hope you understand what I mean, I'm not sure how to express this).
I hope you don't mind my critic, it's definitely not meant in a bad way. If the story hadn't been good, I wouldn't have been bothered typing anything :) And to finish this way too long review; I hope you won't have us wait TOO long for the next chapter ;)
