This was such an emotional and intense chapter. Not saying the previous chapters haven't been emotional and intense...but this one...this one, was just wow.

Oh god, poor Bill. I do get where Robert is coming from, but Bill is just breaking. Robert should understand that Bill doesn't know how to do this! He doesn't just have relationships like this and things are going to be bumpy in the beginning. Still, okay, it would be shit to be thrown out like that. But alfjakf :(
I don't want to forget how Tom just opened up, either. It took a while to get there, but Erika made him open up and explain himself, something he's not used to having to do. Good for her. They've been together a while but it's like Tom's still learning, too. He's been spoiled by Bill and their twin connection, but he's getting there. Good thing she's patient. Until she's not. xD
Author's Response: I think I'd say both the twins have been spoiled, not just by their connection but also by the way the world has seen them for so long, either loving or hating them, so they don't know the shades of grey and how to deal with the facets of other people's emotions. Bill gravitates between loving and trusting this new person and panicking and pushing him away, but in this case, he has to see it's his own fault and not something he can self-righteously blame on Robert. Same with Tom and Erika, for that matter, although Tom is getting better :) I enjoy making him work hard, I guess, hehe. Thank you so much for reading, I'm so happy you're enjoying it!

My heart is so sad, I think it broke a little there at the end. I'm surprised I'm just loving this so much. This is probably only the second HET story I've read, and I love it dearly- it is certainly my favorite. I just can't bring myself to read most of them- I just see them and grimace before I move on; but YOU are so incredibly talented and I love your twins (and Erica)! I love Tom and Erika's relationship, it has its flaws like every relationship but it's so strong and just. I love erika, i feel her dilemma, both bill and robert are her friends, that one is never easy. I feel so sorry for Bill, even though that robert dude is hurting too! And tom and bill, the way you write them here... just so unique.
