ok. i want to like this. i really, really want to like this. your writing is outstanding, your characterizations of bill and tom are dead-on, and your descriptions are engaging.
but i can't like it.
i can't STAND erika.i know you're trying to create this sweet, normal girl. but honestly, hearing about her sugar cookies and perfect baking skills and her little sundresses and golden tresses of silky hair and long, tan legs and soft tummy and bubbly laugh and kissy kissy boo boo blah blah.
she's not a relate able character AT ALL. which is probably why this doesn't have many reviews.
all that said youre a really good writer so please dont stop. just.. write someone NOT like this annoyance called erica =D
Author's Response: Thank you for commenting. I appreciate your thoughts on this, and I can see how you wouldn't like her. I'm glad you're enjoying the twins, anyway! :) That said, I think Erika's characterization - or OFCs in general - are a matter of differing tastes. A lot of people have said they enjoyed her (and I do, too, or I wouldn't write her like this). Plus, this story doesn't have a neutral narrative. It's Tom's and it's biased. This is intentional. Perhaps it can feel a little much in the fluffier chapters, but when it gets down to it, the rose-colored glasses do come off sometimes and Erika's less sugary side can be seen (on occasion). I admit this *is* a fluffy story - yes, there's drama, but the relationship between Tom and Erika is solid. I'd really like to know if you've read the prequel to this one, and if you felt the same way about Erika in that.rnrnSorry for the long reply. I'm glad you told me what you thought! Maybe you'll enjoy a different female character in a different story - I have a few things lined up ;)rnrnThanks again!

I love how Tom is towards erika, and how she is back! I loved that they decided to move in together! totally awesome! its so amazing the way tom thinks about bill and his girlfriend! its really.. wow. and omigoosh, i too woulve falled completely for georg's baby! that part made me squeal! :D omg this is so realistic and damn awesome. you never dissapoint. well well done!
