It hurts. God, it hurts. But it's a good hurt, you know.
I know I shouldn't say 'Ooh! I got it! I got it! I totally understand what's happening!" because that would be cheating, seeing as how I was involved in the writing process.
But you know, you wrote it so perfectly that anyone without any prior knowledge would be confused as fuck.
There are so many misleads. And so many things that make it the wonderful, hurty fic that it is.
I am so in love with this. So very in love.

Author's Response: Not in this one. In Bushido and Bill's fics they will find out but as of now neither of them knows. I think the way I have it set up it will be Simone, Tom's wife, Tom, Bushido, Bill and then Tom's children.

I had to re-read this to fully get the plot (think I got swept away in the story a bit) but it's really interesting, I like it when the obvious bad influence turns out to be the good one.
I was also really moved by Simone's experiences - you conveyed her feelings really well.
Author's Response: Thank You. I figured when I wrote: "She knew that Bushido would be a bad influence on her son. She did not expect this." that most people would be thrown. I wrote a good portion of this from personal experience. It easy to see what you want to rather than look past the surface.rn

Wellllll I reviews and then i had to read this again. This was very well done i liked it and automatically i thought it was Bill being abused but it was Tom which was an excellant coz i think most ppl would thinnk it was Bill. I reread it and realized my mistake. Very good
Author's Response: Thank you. When I started writing this I had an image in my head of Tom sitting up at night staring in the mirror at the bruises his wife left on him and telling himself that it wasn't abuse, because men don't get abused. Bill is always the one getting abused and I knew that is where most peoples' minds would go so I was very careful not to use names in this one.

Author's Response: No hun, Tom was the one that was being abused. This is going to be a series of five stories and hopefully the next ones will clear everything up. Tom fell in love with a woman who beat him, and because, in his mind, men don't get abused, because that could never happen to him, he didn't try to get help. Bill was the one that had found a loving relationship with Bushido.

Author's Response: Uhm, no ducks. Tom was the rotting pile of meet in the apartment. His wife beat him tp death.

You already know how much I love this. But I just might say it again anyway.
I love this. Even if it makes my heart ache and a few tears slip down my cheeks. Triggering be damned, I could read this over and over. And I most likely will.
So now, I exhale deeply and press submit, hoping to God that I'm not going to break down into pathetic squeeing or you know, uncontrollable crying because you just down that to me with this fic. Maybe I can try and do both at the same time... >.>
Nevertheless, I'm glad you posted this. Angst is good. I like angst. =)
