This wasn't confusing or boring! I think you are setting up this story wonderfully. I know you got me hanging on the edge of my seat. I wonder why Bill is so hostile to Tom a lot of the time. I get that he got in a bit of trouble two years ago, but is that the reason? Anyway, great chapter! XD

Great start! I am pretty much obssessed with Sherlock Holmes and the Murdoch Mysteries series (I'm not sure if you heard of it, but it's basically the Canadian Sherlock Holmes XD) so I'm thinking I should enjoy this story. Something about this era fascinates me. Anywho, great first chapter, I'm excited to read more :)

This sentence, is god! x3 Aww! Tom's still protective, even though Bill's all, 'Don't touch me" >.> Love it! I'm interested to see what happened to their parents. And day-um! Bill's not as clean as he made out to be huh? ;D Awesome chapeter, so I tsk you for your end notes -tsktsk- Can't wait for the next! ^^

I LOVE how they're called tarts xD I also really like that it's not the average "I love you twin" kind of fic, orginality lives on! :D I will sit and wait patiently (pfft as if I'll be patient) for the next chapter, and the one after, and the next after that, and so on ^^ Amazing concept, tortureee! x3
