I think that Tom will say he needs time and kiss Bill once more before going about his life, only to return a few months later ready to love and be loved and be less afraid BUT Bill will have another person. Then, Bill will hate Tom but really still love him and in the end everyone will be happy, coz it's so cliched and fantastic.
