Good luck with the break. I really love your writing, though, just so you know. Each and every story I've read by you takes ahold of me. I have such strong connection with your characters that sometimes I think you're inside of my head. Everytime I see a banner that looks like your style I get excited because your writing just does that to me. I really hope you get your breathing room and find peace while you're away :)

I love your characters. They feel very real and the setting they live in is easy for me to imagine. I approve of chapters 1-3 so far. ; ) I'm sure I'll love more as they come.

Anyway. Wonderful chapter, hon. :) I really like the way you're describing Tom's OCD. It seems so weird to have someone acting that way, and then you remember that it's not weird to the person. And you have to think about why they're doing it -- if it was something that happened earlier on to them or if it was just something that spontaneously happened one day. I wonder which one Tom is; maybe something happened when he was younger to make him like this? :(
Either way, I'm sure I'll find it really interesting how their relationship progresses, especially since Tom is adamant about not having any physical contact with Bill. :/ It's a good thing Bill's not touchy-feely or anything because that would really suck. XD

Another amazing chapter! I'm so in love with this story you can't imagine. As for this drama that's going on here with Savanna (I would have to be dead not to notice...)since I've quit writing for this fandom a while ago I don't have anything to lose here if I drop in my two cents. I hope you don't mind since we don't know each other at all. But here it is: I like Savannas stories very much. However, the moment I read the first chapter of her story, my first thought was that it had an eery resemblance to yours. It was especially noticeable since it was posted very close in time to your story. So I understand your point and that you are miffed. Totally acceptable. But. And that's why I'm writing all this down to you. this whole shit has happened to me here once. I don't know if you remember, but I had a featured story Scar Tissue, and then a person started posting a story which basically had the same plot, the same characters, they even stole the name of the potion used in my story. This fic is still being posted, despite me having contacted the author and the mods about the possible rip-off. Now she apoligized, put up a disclaimer, but still keeps posting. Do I still care? hell, no. and you shouldn't either. That's my message to you: don't give a f***. This is not the end of the world and it should not be over-dramatized either. You should just keep doing your thing. It's not like people stop reading your story, because of the other. This whole thing is not worth blowing up and you leaving even for a moment!
I hope you don't mind that I ambushed you with this message, but I've been through it all and I never looked back ever since. You shouldn't either. This story is too good and you are an author too good for that. Take care,

Author's Response: Oh, well. All I know is now I seem like that bad guy for some reason and I've been being harassed left right and centre. It's not so easy to just "not give a fuck" when THF is all you have sometimes. My issue though... you're telling me not to leave but you left because of the same thing? or did you leave for other reasons? Sorry, I only got two hours of sleep because I was up crying all night lol. So my head isn't working. At any rate, thanks but... I still think I'll be leaving for a while.

I love this story and these characters! You are an awesome writer! I understand wanting to take a break, but I hope you don't let the flamers bother you to much, they're not worth it. IMO you are one of the best authors on this site, and I will miss your writing very much.

On topic, I watched Obsessed tonight, a show about people with OCD, and you capture Tom's compusions perfectly. They seem completely irrational yet...somehow they make sense to the people performing them.

i want to say fake, healthy, rediculous, frusterating. It's very free of him, lol. Such a personality as that is rare to come upon. I like the character you've made Bill into, and Tom's reaction to Bill's advances and friendship is super cute. Can't wait to see where this is going.
