I found it a little odd how your series went from 0-60 lol or should I say, 14 to 60? But I really enjoyed these :)
Author's Response: It was actually supposed to just jump all over the place, so whatever age I decided to write would be okay. I didn't want it to be all old!twins, but tell stories from their younger life, too. Still, it was different writing the younger one! I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you! :)

God I missed your old!twins stories! I just adore reading not only about Bill and Tom and how they still adore each other, but also about how they're still good friends with Georg (and presumably Gustav). There's just something really special about relationships that last through the decades. And how sweet is it that Tom proposed! I melted so much reading this, and I learned something new. I had no idea people in Germany wore their wedding rings on their right ring finger! xD

As for the wedding rings, I read several places that German's traditionally wear it on their right hand, but now some people wear it on their left. I just went with right per tradition. I hope my research was right! xD Thanks again, bb! <3

So. Incredibly. Sweet. I love that Tom asked, even if they can't get married! It's definitely something Bill would want, of course it is, even though he knows the way Tom does that it doesn't REALLY matter, it's until death do us part anyhow.
I loved the creaky knees and getting Georg's help to get off the floor, that was too cute. I like the idea of them having the ceremony, at least - a commitment ceremony!

Author's Response: I think I'm working hard at living up to the 'schmoop' bit. xD And yeah, that's exactly it; they both know it will be forever anyway. But I think it's like knowing the person you love also loves you; you know it but sometimes it's still nice to hear it.
I love older people getting married. Mostly because they've been through so much and they're certain who they want to be with for the rest of their lives. Which just seems like it means just a little more when they know there might not be that much of it left? I don't know but it always seems just so sweet to me.
